They're both nice but I prefer manga. It's alot easier to borrow at school and be done with quickly too.

I was never into comic books and I think now I know why. When I'm sitting down to read, it's something that is going to take a while, especially if there's a book in my hand. If I have a book in my hand and it takes me 10 minutes to go through it... I feel like I've wasted time mainly because in my mind, I've set aside at least an hour to relax and read. Well I ran out of s**t to read! <******** you manga!

I prefer manga mainly because I love to read, but I love anime too. 3nodding It's just hard for me to find good anime that doesn't cost a hell of a lot of money.

I don't like Manga-lovers who complain about anime. Manga is all about making a story greater in your mind than the author or any other reader can imagine, making your experience harder to share. Anime is an art form separate from the manga that inspired it, because it is the representation of the author's veiw of the story. So stop complaining about how an anime changes a manga: its completely separate!

A good example of this is (one of my faves) His and Her Circumstances. The director of the anime sought out to represent multiple, distinct boy-girl relationships, fraternal as well as marital. Stained as well as clean. The anime ends abruptly when the last relationship comes into a complete revalation : i.e. the watcher realizes that the boy diludes himself into thinking he hates the girl to get away from his love for her. The manga (I heard this secondarily) doesn't stop there, continuing to tell the story of the lovers and the reprucussions of their actions. The director of the anime didn't want to tell their complete story but rater just represent Circumstances to enlighten the watcher. So don't complain, its art all its own!
