In the disorder spawned by Caiden's absence, some of the followers have either scattered to the winds or have been left to flounder amongst the clan's great numbers. This cannot be said of the Comet Serpents, though. Under the guidance of the formidable Nyx they have united, and more followers are gathering to the female leader. With determination, patience, and no small amount of luck, this budding Crash might just rise above the chaos that has overtaken the Classic Reflections clan... Perhaps.

Name: Nyx
Meaning and Origin: Nyx means Night in Greek, and the Serpent was named after the daughter of Chaos, the Goddess of the Night.
Age: Older than dirt, shop-wise.
Personality: Nyx is what some would call – and have done so, many times – a domineering b***h. This has been garnered by both her temperament in public and her size, being one of the largest Serpents in the Oasis, and likely the largest females. She is an aggressive, intelligent, assertive and calculating female. She has great pride in herself and those closest to her, though at times, when combined with her aggressive streak, she can come off as arrogant. This sense of haughtiness comes off strongly when she is dealing with males, but this is only because she strives to be seen as an equal, not just another pretty face in some male’s flock. This has made her driven in her drive to succeed, as well as spawned a hot streak in Nyx. She isn’t one to deal with fools patiently.
She does have a soft, tender side, though, that she only shares with those closest to her - her lovers, her family, her closest friends. When relaxed, she's nearly a completely different serpent 'behind closed doors'; soft spoken, serene, and, despite her build, nearly fragile. Nyx is passionate about what she holds dear, and won’t stand down in the face of adversity. She is forever striding towards the betterment of her family, her crash, and herself.
History: One of the oldest Serpents in the Oasis, Nyx was Katie’s very first pets. She has lived through both the good times and bad since before Caiden banded the original clan together, and she has grown over the years, figuratively and most certainly literally. From a child that was afraid of her own shadow, she went to a haughty, short tempered adolescent that tried to shove her nose into everyone’s business and used her massive size to get what she wanted. Now Nyx is a proud, mature female with children and grandchildren, as well as Matron of her own crash.
In the disarray following Caiden’s running away, Nyx has seized the opportunity to show that the Serpents could hold their own counsel without Dustling supervision. While her crash may not be near the size of the Classic Reflections clan, she sees a bright future for Natus Tellum, and she wants to be the one that leads them to it.
She received a hard blow when the humans were forced to leave the facility, Katie included. The human woman had been there since she was born, and while she hadn't said such in a long time, she thought of her as her mother. She has been putting on a stoic face since then, and has been outwardly colder to many of those around her, trying to remain strong in the face of her loss.
