(( I can meet you at the Bourse if you want. It's not that far a walk. ))
Sayuri only felt her cheeks flush moreso, giggling a little, "That works too. Just watch out since I may end up falling onto you." She then blinked when he dashed under the trees cover, trying to understand, noticing how he was watching the hawk now. "Oh! you don't have to worry, that isn't a scout or something. He's probably hunting actually." She mumbled, tilting her head, resting her chin on his shoulder with a small yawn. She was so comfortable...

((okay and we can walk back together and I'll show the interesting 'supply kit' I gotta get that day xd *offers you brownies*))
Nolen looked away from the hawk to grin at her. "If you fall I'll be happy to be to catch you or at least make a good landing cushion if nothing else." Hearing her words about it not being a scout, a sigh left him. "Good. I don't like scouting hawks." He spoke that with a certain spite in his voice. It sounded as though it wouldn't be the first time he encountered one nor did he care for it. His ears flicked at her yawn. Aw, cute. "Are you tired? Would you like to go back?" His voice switched from a sort of malice to a gentle tone of care.

(( Yeppers! Oh? Alright. ^^ *takes* Arigato gozaimas! ))
Sayuri grinned, hugging him, still making sure she didn't choke him since that would be bad. Yes, very bad. She wouldn't do that to her friend, the shiney lion! "If you say so." She smiled, blinking as her smile faltered at the tone in his voice, her ears laying back a little. though, she returned to her normal bouncy status quite soon enough, shaking her head with a small smile. "Nah, you're just really comfy and I'm quite relaxed." She replied with a tiny giggle, her tail curling around their waists. "Are you? Because I don't mind walking. This is just fun." She grinned once more, ears twitching in their happiness.

((IS YOUR SIG RIGHT!? Apocalytica?!))
Nolen laughed. "Well there is something new I didn't know about myself. Never thought of me as comfy before." He grinned. He continued walking forward until they were a few yards away from a doe with her fawn. Nolen crouched low. "Do you see what I see?" He asked playfully in a low hushed voice. His tail whipped with excitement. His inner lion cried out for him to chase it but no, he just wanted to see it with Sayuri. Thank the heavens she was on his back or else he really might have gone for it.

(( Yeah. At the theater on South Street. Me and my mom got tickets. ^^ Word really hasn't gotten out I don't think. ))
Sayuri grinned, making a small purring sound, her tail shifting a little as she rested her cheek against his shoulder. Though, when she saw the doe with her fawn, she perked up, ears twitching. "Yes... Aw they are so cute..." She whispered, getting distracted a little bit by his tail, resisting the urge to catch it and returning her attention to the doe and fawn. They were, there was a serene quality about them that was rather calming, her cheek resting on his shoulder again, having to brush some of her neck fur to the side so it wouldn't be in her face.

((About time my dell let me on your journal to reply >.< I actually am anticipating getting that laptop by now -.-; its gotten that bad))
A low playful growl came from within his throat but he coughed to suppress the urge to chase them down in fear, just to release them. He got up and began to jog along deeper into the forest. "What is the highest tree you've ever climbed before, Sayuri?" The male was always curious about climbing but he dare not try it out. He wouldn't want to get stuck up there. Just as he glanced around he stopped in his tracks, green eyes wide. "Froggy!" There on the tree beside them was a little blue poison dart frog just relaxing on the side of the trunk. "Do you like frogs?"

(( Oh wow... Sorry about the late reply. I has lotsa rps going on and Senior year. @.@ Damn.. Well, Dells have always hated me. xD ))
Sayuri sighed lightly, her chin resting on his shoulder as she glanced around again, her tail twitching occasionally before rolling from side to side. Tilting her head at his question, she blinked a bit, straightening even as he gave her a piggy-back ride. "Um.... I think it was a Cherry blossum tree. Or else it was a Redwood." She answered thoughtfully, having to seriously think about that since she had climbed so many trees. She felt her grip on his shoulders tighten a little as he suddenly stopped, her eyes darting around till she saw the frog that he was talking about. Cocking her head a little, she made a chittering noise in her throat, blinking a few times. "Some of them. I like to watch them mostly." She murmured in response, turning her head to look at him with a small smile, "what about you, do you like them?"

((Dear byakko sorry this took so long. College really REALLY took all of my time.))
Nolen looked over his shoulder at Sayuri. "What was the view like at the top of those trees?" Despite his hidden fear of heights, he always wished to be able to see what was up there, above the canopy. He was a lion of simple pleasures in life. He smiled at her chittering but turned hsi eyes to the frog. "I used to try and catch them when I was a kid. Taught myself a lot. Like, that frog there, its interesting looking, but don't touch it. It makes you sick."

(( I'm sorry it took ME so long! I had writers block, then I forgot, then I had writers block, and then I got busy.... Oh well. I can answer now! ))
Sayuri blinked, her ears twitching as she touched a finger to her chin in thought. "Hmmm... Whats the right word.... Amazing. I love how the sky stretches on like the ocean, and the clouds are like boats on the water. Especially at sunset, thats when it's the most beautiful. The wind blows through your hair.... Ooo it gives me shivers!" She chittered and giggled, getting distracted by the frog again when he pointed it out. Tilting her head again, she frowned, "aww, ok." She held onto him a little tighter, seeming quite comfortable with her head perched on his shoulder.

((XD No sweats! I got distracted by stuff too. Do you have a facebook yet? crying ))
Nolen turned his green eyes up to the sky as she described what it looked like. He longed to see something like that for himself. But he knew better; he knew that if he tried to get up in a tree, there would be no coming back down. "I don't understand how you can do that. Its amazing to me, Sayuri." He almost sounded like he was mumbling to himself. Green eyes glanced back at Sayuri before he grinned. "Wanna find an animal we can play with?""
