Okay, I just happened to glance at my turtle tank, and one of my turtles was chewing on something. I hadn't fed them in a while, and wondered what it was. I went over and realized that she'd be eating a hole in the plastic-foam dock.
Any ideas? Hungry? Bored? Needs a bigger tank?
I'm kinda scared, and I hope the stuff's not that bad for her.

I'm guessing its a red eared slider. What size take is it in and how long as it been since it last ate? Its not uncommon for them to chew on stuff but if it swallows any of the plastic it could get sick. If the turtle is able to chew pieces of the dock off you might have to get something thats a little more solid.

Yeah, Luthien's a slider that hadn't eaten in about a day, and has admitedly been looking a little big for her tank lately. I already took the dock out,.

Thats good. You might want to get a bigger tank. If it has more space to move around it might chew a little less.
