So, there are a few monkey villagers that you can get in AC:WW. The only trouble about this is that there is no record of them in the Official Nintendo Power AC:WW Guide nor on animalxing.com. So... here's my proposal..
Does anyone know any monkey villagers; their personality, catchphrase, picture quote?
I knew Simon.
Jock, I think.. or maybe Lazy because of his quote... hrm..

I don't know if they're rare villagers or what (or if any are rarer than others) nor do I know how many there are.
I've only met Simon and I've seen a few others on pictures in a friend's house.

I looked back at old entires in a community I'm in, and it says that the monkeys come from one of two places.
They're either hacked or received by accessing a Nintendo Download Station (which I don't think is possible anymore). Quote: I had five monkeys, yes. We were all three alone in the store when we did our downloading. Yes, the monkeys are a promotional thing. Quote: I got a legit Monkey today. My mom got a hacked Monkey before the promotional downloads started. The way you can tell is the hacked monkeys have switched genders. "Champ" for instance is a boy, but a hacked version of Champ will most definitely have a pink name tag when you talk to him. Likewise, a female monkey's name would be blue when you talk to her. If the genders are correct, however, you've got yourself a secret monkey. Super sweet. I didn't write any of these, but they're relevant.
Supposedly, there are only the six of them: Simon, Champ, Monty, Nana, Elise, and Tammi.
Unfortunately, I don't have any of the other information about them.
