Little has been revealed about the new Tekken movie (that is to come out in 2009). What is known, is that it is set later on than in the Anime film. Crystal Sky has announced that the movie is currently in development. Tekken is being written by Michael Werb, Michael Colleary, and Hans Rodinoff. It has been said that Charles Stone III will be one of the directors.
This was the summary Crystal Sky posted on their website:
"In order to put to rest the ghosts of his past, Jin Kazama enters the Tekken tournament, a fierce and dangerous competition featuring the world’s best martial artists. Following close behind him is Zheng, a rebel monk looking to save Jin from his own inner demons. While on the surface Tekken appears to be the corporation of the future, Jin and Zheng expose a dark underbelly that could threaten the very threads of humanity."

Hopefully it will turn out good. Most movies based on video games suck. gonk
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Street Fighter and Dead or Alive....turned out a disappointment.

If its good I wanna see it. It better not suck like Streetfighters or Dead or Alive! Plus it had better have good casting too!
But then again as a Tekken fan, i probably expect too much from it...

I haven't hear any news about the movie whatsoever. I was so excited when I hear there's gonna be a Tekken movie back in '05, but now it's just.. um.. meh..
I think it's better to leave Tekken alone... -.-
