i like em both, but i prefer the books becuase the movies leave a lot of things in the book out of the movie

I first read the Swedish translation of the books (since I wasn't really that old, I didn't know enough English to read the original version) and I loved them. Unfortunately, my imbecile parents bought me the second book first, so I had to wait a while before I could actually read them. I watched the first film before I got to read the first book, actually, and I loved it. Loved the book even more of course. But I've started to hate translated stuff, so I read the original version. I've realised now bad the translation really was now. I feel sorry for my little brother, not knowing enough English to read the original...
So anyway, I've started to dislike the films more and more. Dunno why... I suppse it's because I would sort of like to watch a movie with all the stuff described in the books, though I know nobody would ever want to watch such a long film. xD
