I think movies are good, because they can make the most boring books into something kinda exciting

True, but it would have to depend on how well the writers interpret the books. If you have a bunch of them together they'll all see some parts differently, and some the same. It just comes down to that is all.

When a book gets turned into a movie, normally the writers, director or whoever rapes the book. They change everything around and make it crappy. Few people have ever made a book into a movie and had it be good and *follow* the fething book, not their own storyline.

Too true. Though there are a few that aren't that bad. Unfortunatly, if it anything started out in a published paper form, wheather it be book or comic, Hollywood just can't get it right.

It made me so angry after they made Eragon into a movie. The book was great, boring at times but great. When the movie came out they changed everything the book had in it. How Saphira got her name, Rorran leaving the town to join Galbatorix's army(Never happened in the book). When Murtag was taken captive, in the book he was released to prove his aleagance to the Varden. In the movie they didn't let him go, the urgals broke the cage and he started to fight.

I hate it when books are moviefied, specailly Lord of the Rings.

I don't mind people making movies out of books as long as they stick to the book and don't make them suck terribly. Take Lord of the rings: that's a great movie and it's true to the book
But then you look at movies like eragon and The series of Unfortunate Events and wonder "what the heck were they thinking?!? New Line Cinema does a good job but don't let Disney anywhere near the movifying business

P.S. Can't wait to see what they do to the Twilight movie evil
