Erik looked around, half expecting her to be right behind them when Reiha uttered the curse word. "Yeah well, she might not, but still. I'd reather not get into another fight."
"She said it's when you never want to be away from someone, and you'd do anything to make yourself perfect, but they already are.. That's like in my books too, but she said it could destroy you and that isn't.. I don't like that part." He said, trying and failing to sound sagely. "'sides.. I'm in love and I don't get that last part."

"Yeah I geuss Adain would be annoyed if I got into another fight too." Reiha mentioned, shrugging her shoulders back.
Adain tilted his head to the side. That sounded a lot like of his love with Susan...and nothing like his love with Chel. He smiled at Berial's 'confession'. "Oh really? Anyone I know?" he teased lightly.

"Yeah. And while I'm sure you three could take her on, I don't fancy a black eye or anything. It's not easy to heal yourself.." He said, looking down at Reiha again. It was so easy to forget how old she really was. Not like Berial, who amde it glaringly obvious that he was a child.
Berial smiled and his cheeks tinged blue a bit. "Reiha, o' course.." He said. "She's the best."

Reiha nodded in agreement, as he smiled, seeing Berial up ahead. She almost ran forward to grab his hand or something when his words were brought to her by the wind. She blinked and pulled to a stop, eyes going wide.
Adain, not seeing Reiha, grinned, "She's lucky to have you Berial." he reached down and ruffled Berial's hair, "And you're lucky to have here. Love is a hard thing, it gives, it takes, but it's always worth it. Remember, love is wroth everything but the cost of your morals. But I don't think you have to worry, Reiha wont ever ask you to change those."

Erik froze a bit too, but mostly stayed by Reiha to gauge her reaction. He was pretty sure that Berial didn't know the full implications of what he meant.
Berial beamed up at Adian, glad that he approved before spotting Reiha and smiling even broader. "He healed you!" He said gleefully.

Reiha gave a weak smile, then a bigger once as she moved forward, hugging him tightly. She didn't make any comments about hearing what he said, just smiled at him, "Of course he did, Erik's great." Reiha said quietly.
Adain looked at Reiha smiling then glanced to Erik, "So...well..what do you think we should do? About this schooling thing. Chel could proably teach them but...well she has work all day. And I got work and dumb as a rock."

Erik shrugged, watching Reiha carefully, before looking at Adain and smiling weakly. "I don;t know. I guess I could, but I've been pretty busy with the inventions lately."
"Scruffy can do it." Berial said easily, hugging Reiha back and smiling up at everyone. "He's been teachin' me earth history while he fixes his car. I wanna go see the aztecs."

Adain looked wary for a moment. It wasn't that he didn't like Scruffy, he wasn't as close to the grumpier man as Erik but he was nice and Adain still remembered their birthday, how touched the man had been.
Oh the other hand...Reiha acted weird when she spent time with Scruffy. As if the two of them has lived similar lives. He didn't want...to bring up bad memories for Reiha....But...Scruffy proably understood Reiha better than anyone besides Berial...
"Sure, that sounds perfect." Adain said with a smile.
"That sounds cool, just you and me Berial!" Reiha said happily.
