I am attracted to a variety of people. I don't call it a fetish. It's just how life works for me. Unlike you, I can see the beauty in people of all shapes and sizes.

Not everyone who is fat is unhealthy. Yes, that might be true for some. But all? No. Do not generalize. Are these people insecure? Afraid that one day they might gain ten extra pounds that they do not want? Or maybe they are shivering at their computer that beautiful, overweight people actually exist. It's not just the GD, it's people in general. When my mom was younger, she joined a gym to lose some weight. For the few week she was there one of the workers constantly harassed her until she got fed up and left. The manager did nothing. She became depressed---which I can't blame her for. She wanted to do something good for herself, and she's harassed for being fat. And no one did anything to stop it despite how many times she complained. That is just sick how people turn a blind eye when an overweight person is insulted. Of course, the "HBP" will come back, whine, and go on and on how much she hates overweight people for the general, stereotypical reasons.

Seriously, I don't see why so many members here let these people bother them.
Their opinion doesn't matter, seriously.
I mean, yes the girl is a b***h and did you think she wouldn't want to hear that? The entire point of starting the thread was to be bitchy, and it's not like she cared about your opinion or wanted to hear it... so responding to her just gave her somebody to ignore.
She even states she was chubby once but is now "underweight". That means she used to absolutely hate herself, she probably still does... although she's convinced herself that maybe, maybe if she's skinny she'll be pretty despite the fact she probably isn't all that attractive...or she doesn't feel she is still, despite losing weight. Because if she thinks that being skinny is all it takes to be attractive, even though she knows it's not true, she can convince herself not to feel shitty about ohter parts of her appearance she doesn't think she can change.
Like has been said before "I can lose some weight, you can't lose your ugliness." And it's clear she has an ugly personality, that's not going to go away, and that's going to be stuck with her for years... and it's going to keep hurting her...hurting her relationships, hurting herself... and you're trying to let it hurt you when it shouldn't. Why give a s**t about her opinion?
She's just an insecure little girl, trying to feel pretty even though the one thing she had thought for years "If I lose weight, I'll be pretty" didn't work out as great as she thought. Because otherwise no former chubby girls would talk like that, because most of us remember how shitty we felt when we were picked on for our weight.
I joined a gym when I was underage to do so, but I appeared old enough so the lady who signed me up lied for me. I felt awkward coming with my mom and being young and fat, and I let it bother me... so I stopped going back. And nobody ever made a comment about my weight, it was about how much I could lift. I let my impressions of what other people thought control me. Being harrassed is terrible, but isn't it a better revenge to persevere? To not care what they say or do, and to be proud of yourself and who you are? I let imaginary judgement get to me, so I'm not claiming to be immune, but I was 14. It sucks for your mom that that happened, but my point is to learn from it, and realize that that woman won when she harrased your mom and your mom left.
I just wish more girls would realize bitchy, insecure girl's opinions DO NOT matter. I'm tired of these threads showing another person who set out the bait and our girls dashed to get caught in it.

She's allowed to say that fat girls are disgusting because she used to be chubby?
That's like Michael Jackson saying he's allowed to be racist because he used to be black.
And I know who that girl is, and I ******** hate her. She's a stupid b***h. She thinks that just because she's hot and british, she gets to be an a*****e.
The worst part is that she admits to being a b***h (she did that to me once too), and she doesn't care if you use it as an insult. That's retarded. You shouldn't pride yourself on being hated.

Ah yes...another reason I don't frequent the GD as much, nor do I answer to threads that praise or hate on larger people. There are far too many self-righteous people in that forum who believe they have the most witty answers to everything you can throw at them. There is a response to everything. It's like a battle to see just who can be the most cruel, the most sarcastic, and the most obvious. In the end, most (not all) of the GD falls under the category of b***h.
As for that young lady and her replies, to Hell with 'em! Don't let her textual bullshit opinions upset you. You said your piece, she continued to say her jaded manure of responses. Let her think she's won the verbal battle. I was in a similar tiff about a few days ago with some a** that literally got hit in the soul by my telling the truth. He did his best to bully me and call me names. I laughed, said what I needed to....and watched him act like a child via 4 separate accounts and a flood of mean messages I hardly read. Don't let feathers get ruffled, love. Take notice that she herself came into this thread like many other haters who could have hated without responding. It's all for attention. It's all one person's insecurity lashing out at others.

The sad part is that I was in a guild with her about a month or two ago. Not that we were good friends or anything, but....it really was a super shock to know she feels that way about larger people. It's obviously a set of internal issues she has with herself. I had to laugh when she said she "had the right" to speak as she did. It was like an open admittance to everyone that she could not come to terms with her past as a larger person. I usually admire outspoken even bitchy people. There's usually a very valid cause behind their personalities. This, however...bah...what can be said? I haven't been to the GD in a while and thank you God for that. I've heard from my cousin that it's still a rotten place. I'm really not that shocked. With people like that young lady hovering around with such a jaded self-image, where is the shock factor at all? Let her talk...in all her fraudulence and over-stuffed head.
