which program and why.
When I tried a while back, I simply drew by hand then scanned them in.

Sometimes I do line art with pen and then scan it into photoshop and color it in with that. Because my hand control with the tablet pen is not as smooth.
I usually use:
Photoshop CS3
Corel Paint
Paint Shop Pro
A4 Wacom Tablet

I use Corel Painter IX for the inking and coloring, but I have do do the sketches on paper.

Recently I've only really felt like doing pencil head shots for avi art D:
but when I color, I used photoshop CS2. :3 And it certainly is dandy! BD

As most people have said, I just use a pencil and paper. Maybe a pen if I feel like inking it.
I mean, I have Photoshop, but I don't know how to use it, and I don't have a tablet/mouse.
