ok by fade i mean you look at the picture and it is opaque but as you keep looking farther to one side of the pic it starts to fade until its transparent and then another picture is shown. if thats confusing heres a picture

Use the gradient tool for that. If you can't figure it out, just let me know, I can give you setp by step instructions. =)
