Leia climbed onto the first rung, now convinced of the jungle gym's worth. She was not a very good climber and also not very fond of heights, and so she stayed near the base of the structure, perching on the second bar and looking up with interest.
"Okay. I'm Leia, I want to be friends," she declared, pleased with her new companions. Fenrir was very fluffy and soft-looking, and Piper was partly yellow, which was a pretty color, and a little fluffy, and the third girl was not fluffy at all but had curly hair and a sort of thing on her which was a little like Leia's bulb. It was flatter, and it reached all over the place, but it was a large, round sort of thing which took up residence on her torso, and that was enough for her.
"Races are fun, I'd like to race!" she said as the subject of a race came up. She wasn't so fast, but she liked to run and she liked to play.
Paige sat next to Sara, smiling a greeting, and then glanced over to the equipment to keep an eye on Leia. She didn't seem particularly interested in reaching the top of the jungle gym, which came as an enormous relief to her.

“A race?” Alexis asked, but it was like thinking out loud than an actual question. Judging from the looks of the other two, she could tell that she probably wasn’t the fastest. However, looks could be deceiving. And after all, Alexis loved challenges and it would do her well to start increasing her skills as soon as possible. “Well, alright!” She beamed, and looked at Fenrir and Piper, and then at Leia. “Well, my name’s Alexis, and I’ll gladly be all of your friends.” Now she was pleased that her mother had dragged her all the way to the park.
Sara noticed some movement and snapped back, and looked over, instinctively returning the smile. She then peered over at Alexis and smiled, pleased that she was making new friends. And now, she continued to look around, trying to find some form of inspiration. She was an aspiring writer, but so far hadn’t created any works of her own. Well, the ideas she came up for work were hers, but also had other adding on or making changes. She wanted something to call her own.

Leia, Alexis, and Piper such good names for her pretty new friends! Fenrir's tail wagged happily before she looked over around around the park area, "Well... lets see. For our first race we can run that tree and back. Whoever wins gets to decide the layout of the next race, does that sound fair?" She asked looking to Piper first, then to Leia, and finally to Alexis to see if they approved of her plan.
Baldric watched as his daughter spoke to the others, turning to meet each of their gazes as she did. He gave a grin wondering what the group of girls were planning since they seemed to be talking enthsiastically about something.

Piper grinned at her two new friends. "Hihi Leia and Alexis!" Friends were nice. She liked having friends like these three. Friends could always play games with you and the more people meant more and more fun! Her thoughts were interrupted by Fenrir announcing the first race. "Yep, yep! Sounds plenty fair!" She wriggled excitedly as she waited for the others to get ready to race.
