If only the line between church and state wern't growing so thin and blurred! If it wern't for religion, mainly Christianity, I doubt that samer-sex marriage would even be an issue!
The government shouldn't have the right to ban consenting adults from marrying!
I really wish that more people could see that love is love! In all honesty, love is what the world needs the most right now, in these times of hatrid and senseless squabbling... if only more people would realize that and open thier hearts to the simple concept of love and allow others to live thier lives how they want so long as they aren't hurting anyone. heart

Even gay couples are human beings and should be allowed to marry anyone they want! I think this whole, banning gay marriage, is bull s**t. As long as there is love and commitment in a relationship, gender should not matter.

I seriously take this quote to heart from a favorite comedian. Bill Mahr once said [in his latest HBO special] "Opinon should not be made law" and thats exactly whats happening here. The opinon of the government is being made into law. Its sad how our constitution says "All Men Are Created Equal" now if this is to be made legal and as a law....that quote will have in big words next to it " EXCEPT HOMOSEXUALS" and that my friends...is f**ked up

Sometimes I just can't believe how closed minded people in this world are. Who is anyone to say what love is. And isn't marriage based on love? There is no such thing as a legal arranged marriage or even a dowry in America, so how can they treat marriage as if it has certain standards? Love cannot be just tossed out simply because the two are the same genders. I live in California, and I hate to see this. I just wish the world could open up their minds and deal with the fact that we all need our rights!

... My state has already gone through this scenario. The Majority decieded that marrage consisted of "ONE MAN. ONE WOMAN." And thus, it was made LAW that the "Sacred Institution of Marrage" was to be for Heterosexuals only.

DAMMIT ALL! WHY DO THEY HATE US?! It's not fair... it's not fair... this is like segregation all over again... soon theyre gonna make it illegal for L/G/B/T people to be in the same neighborhood. Heck, why not just start up a new Holocaust! No one loves us "f*gg*ts" anyways!!! Were "ALL" gonna "burn in hell", just cause were different! Why not just kill us all off?! We're not really people anyways!!
