What really pisses me off is that a candidate's popularity is partially based on his or her religion. It's like, some people won't vote for non-Catholics just because they're not Catholic. I just hope that in twenty years or so more Americans would be willing to vote for a Pagan, because I really want to run for president someday.

As a fellow pagan and pro-choicer I'd vote for you! I would really like to see someone in office who jsut dosent throw religion around. I dont care if our political leader is christian or what ever, so long as he/she can keep their religion seperate from their civil duties. Church =/= State.

I am not yet able to vote, but if I could, I would be stuck between Obama and Clinton, leaning slightly towards Obama.

I would love to say that our government actually works like that, but as far as I can tell separation of church and state is virtually nonexistent. why else would gay marriage be illegal? its against Christianity apparently.

Well that and most Americans don't want it legal. Because it's against Christianity. Still, a lot of politicians just oppose gay marriage because they want to please the majority of the voters.

Yeah? Well I'm sure most Americans hate having to stop at red lights. Should we get rid of traffic lights then?

I'm leaning towards Barak more than anyone else, really. I won't vote Republican, and Hilary is at the bottom of my Democrat voting list. Edward and Giulani... eh, I can live with either.

I'm 24 and have yet to register to vote. It looks like I would vote for any of the "blue candidates" as they all seem to hold if not a fully pro-choice stance, then at least a pro-life personal/pro-choice political stance. I have no problem with people not supporting abortions for themselves, as long as they leave it at that. I also like those who voted YES on getting better funding for sex ed. It's good to have a president that's pro-active.

I won't be old enough to vote yet, but if I could, I'd vote for Obama.

I like Edwards and Obama the most. Sadly, Edwards will never make it =/

Clinton's pro-censorship thing really hurts my opinion of her. As in, REALLY hurts. Sorry, but censorship is a big no.

I'll only comment on Giuliani for the Republicans - the others look like idiots, but I used to hear good things about McCain, he used to be quite liberal - he's making too big a step. From mayor to president, pretty much riding what he did as mayor. I don't think he'll be able to do the job of president.

Though he's not up there, no matter how much support you see for Ron Paul, DO NOT VOTE FOR RON PAUL. He not only is pro-life (he introduced some bullshit Sanctity of Life act in 2005) he seems to want to ******** up the entire way the US is run.

Too bad I'm Canadian ( and too young to vote). Abortion's been a non-issue in Canada since 1992.

I've recently found myself WITHOUT a favorite candidate.

Obama is advocating going to war in Pakistan. I will NOT vote for someone who supports such rash/idiotic actions. I don't think there will BE a candidate from the main parties I'll be voting for.

What? I didn't know he wanted to go to war, that's news to me.

I know, my dad told me that Canada's pretty much a pro-choice country for the most part, and that there really isn't a raging debate on stuff like abortion ad gay marriage. To me I think the US could learn a lot from Canada, and from other countries as well. But no, our government's too busy bossing other countries around.
