She spread her wings slightly at the stirring of the wind, remembering past years, and remembering her younger days. She had had two clutches since then, and if she bred again it would be her last, though she had had fine, strong children, her and Amir. They were otherwise almost vibantly different, her meditative calm to his passion and fire, though remembering him in flight made her flicker her wings, remebering the swoops and dives. She knew few other breeds who's courtship was so....awe inspiring.
It made her long to take to the air in that wild flirtation with gravity and wind at least once more, before they were too aged or too aching to do it again.
