AbrAbraxas I_27_04 I respect you for your beliefs. I hope you find god soon. check the couch cushions, i find all kinds of things in there. seriously though dec 21 2012... End of the world concept... maybe. MAYBE. To be honest, I really doubt it. It doesn't make sense. The only way there can be an End to the world is if some giant meteor crashes and demolishes the earth, but if its only 5 years away, we would have seen it by now. I mean.. it's possible, I guess.. maybe a great decline in population because of some untracible natural (or unnatural) disaster. I don't know. What makes sense to me is to try as hard as possible to help repair the Earth from the damage we have caused so that we're not ASKING for a disaster. Think about what the word environment means... SURROUNDINGS which we DEPEND on. Why make excuses to not do anything and attempt to justify a lack of action? Maybe because we're lazy. and stupid.

MegaTherion777 I_27_04 I am never going to use a buss when I can use a car. I already do all of the other stuff, but I don't want to wait for a buss to come, then wait for it to make all its stops before it makes mine, when I could just take a car and drive there. OF course I am too young to drive, but that is where I stand and that is where I will stand when I cna drive. As for energy efficent bulbs I feal obligated to do it, since its so simple, so I will. Recycling is a pain, but doesen't take much time so I'll do that. I'll buy whatever I want, and besides I mostly eat fish. ummm...a bus is not only better for the environment, but is more affordable. but if you'd rather pay 15K for a car, and then $40 every time you fill the tank, and several hundred on insurance, than pay a buck for bus fare, i guess that's your right. Actually in the city of saskatoon where I live it's cheaper to drive a car than to take the bus, Sad but true (of course we are one of or even the only city in canada that dosn't get funding from the province for public transport

Maby the subway would be better than the buss. I haven't posted in here in a long time, and my views have changed since then. Though I want to say one thing. I do believe gass is bad for the enviorment, a little bit, but...
It seems all the adults are focused on gass running out. They all look at the prices, and the ammount of gass, but for some reason they are still fogetting one thing, that they learned in history class in second grade, because they where focused on that bugs bunny cartoon they wanted to see, while I was paying attention and coloring my a**(I like to cencor myself) off.
"England had recently lost a war(they wheren't going to tell the whole long boring story to stupid little second graders. They cant remember that much in one day) and needed a large amount of money to pay for new solders, and buildings(they have to be vague with little kids so tehy don't get confuzed), because they had lost many of them in the war. Because of this they took something from the people called tax. Tax is when the governmen takes a little bit of money from everybody, and uses that money to help everybody, but in england, they where taking too much money. Now they still considered the new colony(my text book was dumb) to be theirs, and where still taxing them for everything. However the economy of the new colony was different. The idea our founding fathers had, was called supply and demand..."
Oh, so you remember now? That thing called supply and demand. No? Well lets see.
supply and demand is all about how much people buy, and how much there is left. If something you are selling is being bought buy alot of people, very often, then you should raise the price a little, so they pay more, and you get more money. You keep doing this untill you get as much money as you can. If nobody is buying it, you lower the price, so people might buy it at it's possibly affordable price, or maby the low price will make up for the product sucking. Also, lets say there's only a few of your products left, and there used to be alot. That means people have been buying. You should raise the price to squeeze the last peace of money out before it's gone(remember this sentence, because we come back to it later). If you have alot of it left, and it's been a while, then you should lower the price so people will buy it.
Oh hi guys! Say.. Do you guys remember that time where I said that thing about raising the price when their is only a little of somethign left? yeah, so do all of the adults.

I have 50,000,000 pencils
9,000 pencils sold in one day to various stores.
I raise the price by 10 cents per pencil, and I still have 49,001,000 pencils left.
Next day on the news the pencil speculators are rioting. My pencils, the finest quality in the world, have risen 10 cents, and I raised the price a few more times over the next couple days, so obviously I must have only a few more pencils left right?
Politician 1,"We are running out of gass, and the prices are goint up!"
Politician 2,"No we still have plenty of gass!"
Politician 1,"If we had so much gass, then why are the prices going up?"
Politician 2,"Oh I guess your right, we are running out of gass."
Hey guys, I have an idea. Remember those gass companies? Their major corperations right? And who runs major corperations again? That's right, Greedy Greedy misers!
And what do they want?
Money!
So what if, they still have alot of gass, but it's selling alot because more people use cars now, so they raise the price for... What is it now?
