I've been trying to make a marching tune for the intro of a song i'm writing , but i can't get by the standard beat for drums, guitar, bass, anything.
(Example)
0-0000-0000-00000000:
0-0000-0000-00000000:
2-2222-2222-22222222:
I'm having a really hard time with it. so if anyone can give me some ideas on somethign diffrent or some help i'd really appreciate it.

Standard.
and i've found a song that isn't really a song but a remix of jsut speechs with someone playing over it.
it's basicly the same thing, except it doesn't have the 8notes at the end its jsut the fours over and over and over again. then it does some solos throughout it. so it looks promising but its not what i've got in mind.

that's not going to change the rhythm though. i like the way it sounds. But its the fact that i can't get past the riff right there. i keep getting stuck on it. i need somethign more complex. but i can't think of anything.
