It must be because she is basing her book off of your life!
Sorry...I'm just sick of those disclaimers that say that the book is a work of fiction and if anything resembles anything you have experienced in your life it is just a coincidence, and it's a sifi book.
It actually is pretty cool that you almost share the same name. I've never found any character that has a last name close to mine, but that's understandable.

That's weird. Well there are these really scarey books called ghost stories to read in the dark and at the page where they dedicate the books to people it said "to lauren" just lauren, no last name. My name is lauren, I found this out in like first grade, I was freaked out.
