I disagree with 2 and 7.
Perceptor fixes a lot of things around the Ark, so I have to protest him being so high on the list. He's clever and I think he's really helpful. His microscope mode is very useful for his studies and repair work, even if it's not meant for battle. So he's not blowing other robots up, oh well. rolleyes He was a scientist, not a fighter, and you can't win a war with just fighters. Perceptor ftw <3333
Soundwave does have an obsolete ALT mode, but it was back in the 80's. What can you expect? They can't just guess at what the latest technology trend will be. It's unreasonable to expect the creators to. :/ Yes, he records things, which are completely vital to the Decepticon cause. Newest Autobot plan? Lazerbeak has recorded it. Mutiny among the ranks? Soundwave knows. Soundwave is awesome. >:[

Sure, Wheelie's annoying. But he survived alone for centuries stranded on Quintessa, and dude had the brass bearings to hit Grimlock in the head with a slingshot.

I think Astrotrain is more a over seas threat were trains are still widely used

Hey, I like Soundwave too and I strongly disagree that he is useless. They don't have ipods in the 80's or he would probably have transformed into an ipod instead of a microcasette recorder. As for making a list of useless transformers, they all have some use but some are more boring than others. That being said, perhaps a list of the 10 most boring transformers instead of useless.

Perceptor had a tank mode in adition to the Microsope mode. It would have been cool if that mode had shown up in the show.
