Daft Punk is all about innovation and pushing the the envelope of music. Their beginning is all about DESTROYING the limits that electronic music had at that point in history. Their music was a turning point for that genre and gradually was a major factor in getting electronic music accepted in the popular culture.

I doubt they'll be turning down too many people who want to experiment with their samples.

Look, music is music everyone. It all takes some degree of skill and really I'm kinda tired of bashing certain kinds of music. Daft Punk obviously saw something in Kayne and appreciated what he does....who are you to say it doesn't belong?
