Akida was taking a little roam from his home in the dens, since his mother had advised him to have some more fun in his life. So, exploring all alone was the best way to fulfill his mother's wish. It was a decent hour of the day, the mid morning. The sun was still rising, and so it wasn't as hot outside as it would be in the afternoon. He enjoyed the small warmth it provided. A purr rumbled in his throat as he took off into the grasses.
It wasn't long before he found himself searching about, in hopes of finding another lion that knew their way around the Pridelands. How could a heir not know his way around the lands? ... being so scared was probably one reason. Either way, he hated to admit the fact that he was lost. Though, there were many in the lands who would be able to help him. His idea of a 'fun day' was turning into a nightmare. His heartbeat grew faster as he stood in place, thinking of what to do next. He began to worry. His eyes twitched about as he turned in every direction, in an attempt to spot which way he came from. In shock, he stood back up and began darting towards what he thought would be the correct way.
It ended up being the complete opposite. Akida was heading away from his home, in a quick rush.

A butterfly flitted peacefully along, beautiful and delicate. The soft wings' movement and flashy colours had attracted Tufah. The young cub gamboled and played, chasing the butterfly...the saccharine scene over watched by generations of nannies and played through by generations of cubs...innocent and happy, sweet really...
The snap of teeth and the ripping off of those wings was usually left out of course. Tufah growled happily as she lowered her face, so she could paw away the wings from the butterfly. They weren't good to eat, even the crunchy little body wasn't that great...but she'd sworn she wouldn't go home until she caught something for a meal.
The butterfly had been an insurance policy if she didn't manage a hunt today. No need to go hungry over pride, after all. Plus there seemed to be another cub coming this way, and that was never helpful when hunting~

Akida continued to run forward, completely ignoring the fact that he was closing in on another cub. What luck, or maybe it wasn't? It didn't take much for him to run right into Tufah. He slammed into her, and then flopped onto the solid ground. The tuft of fur on his head became frizzy, as he shook his head in confusion. There was seriously someone there? Blank look on his face, he turned to view the female cub.
Frowning, his ears folded back. He lowered himself, somewhat scared of the reaction from her. "... I uh ... i'm ... " He shook lightly, his eyes widening. "... i'm sorry."
He stood up and began backing away.

Stupid little fool! Tufah'd been knocked off her paws, which caused her some embarrassment since she considered herself not bad at keeping on her feet during playfights with siblings. As she'd gone down she'd growled and she'd been ready to glare at this moron who didn't pay attention to where he was going.
But she swiftly squashed her annoyence and instead offered a small smile. Charming people seemed to work better than yelling at them, she'd learnt recently. It was the smarter way to go - not that she thought this cub had anything of value, but he was obviously a Pridelander too. Had she known he was an heir, she'd have been nicer, but she'd yet to see the cubs that had her families 'birthright'.
"Are you alright?"

Wary of the other cub, Akida coughed and then stood back up. His tail lightly flicked back and forth as he looked at the female. He then looked away, and only responded after she asked him a question.
"Yeah, I suppose i'm alright. ... sorry about that. ... I just ... "
He paused, and then sighed. "... I'm afraid that ... i'm ... lost." He padded up closer to Tufah, and then smiled lightly. "Any chance you could help me out? ... I have never explored on my own, so ... that is why i'm lost. My father has yet to show me the whole kingdom. I've been stuck in a den ... " He exaggerated the last sentence with a slight hate. What a lovely idea, being cooped in a den of all of cubhood. Though, that was one of the only logical ways to keep control of nine children. Even though he explored outside a few times, this was the only time he was allowed to go wherever he wanted.
