I just picked this up and am about halfways through..did anyone else watch this? What did you guys think about it? I think that when Hilda died, they didn't make it a big enough impact on the charcters since when people ask about her, they just say "she's dead"..But I suppsoe its a good series, not the most brilliant, but I wouldn't mind watching the rest..

I watched this first on TV then got it on DVD. The one which was shown in the UK wasn't censored like the US one.

The one which was shown in the UK wasn't censored like the US one. actually, i seem to remember in the first Toonami run of the show here in states, there was an ep where i remember Gene using the word "b*****d". When reruns came along, i never heard that again, lol

The two main changes in the US were that Melfina wears a swim suit when she is in the tube. Also the Hot Spring episode was cut.

Oh man, the last time I watched Outlaw Star was way back when they were airing it on... Adult Swim...? That whole anime line-up that was pretty new at the time.
I can't remember much, though... Was there the character... Suzuka... or something like that? The assassin, I think. I thought she was pretty cool.

I love that anime too. :0
I remember when it came on Toonami. O_o I watched like, every episode. I loved the ending song so much that I got it on my MP3. (Plus the 1st season theme song.) xDD
Aiesha was one of my favorites. With all her kitty furry, she could whoop anybodies butt. :0
I also loved Gene and Melfina, and that cute little kid that was always with the both of them. (Don't remember his name. :0)

i adore out law star blaugh heart i own all of it and i still whach it it's soo awsome it was some of me fave shows i would stay up late knowingi had to go to school the next day i got introuble cuz i would fall asleep in school my moms gopt mad sweatdrop but it was worth it.

O-O;;......................
I find Outlaw Star absolutely brilliant! Sure it's nothing like the newer anime of today but that doesn't mean it's not just as good. I really love the creativeness of the characters and such. Throughout the whole series it really reminds me of roleplaying just because of how it's played out.
I finished the whole series with my boyfriend last month and we love it.
