I was in a book store and randomly picked up his first book Uglies and I couldn't put it down! o.o He's so good! It's a coming of age story, but it's really well done! I bought the whole series Uglies, Pretties, and Specials and they're amazing! I spent $40 at the book store that day! (I bought some manga too ^^U)

The Midnighters is my favorite series by him though. Peeps is my second favorite. I hated the ending the Uglies trilogy

The series is pretty repetative. They get caught, they get free, they get caught, they get free.
My friend got me into them.
I loved Uglies. Pretties was.. okay.. Tally got me angry in Pretties. I never bothered reading Specials, because Pretties was just okay. So, I may eventually read Specials, but I didn't want to.

Oh, me too! Uglies, to me was the best book. If he had more stuff like it in Pretties and Specials, then the rest of the trilogy would be a lot better, in my opinion. Although, he is a good writer. I for one adore his use of adjectives, and what not.

My mom bought me the pretties for Christmas, I read like the first chapter or so but I didn't really understand what was going on so I stopped.

Yeah... and the Extras came out, which I'm waiting for my library to get! He IS good. Actually, he came to our school last week and told us about where he got his ideas and his books and stuff! It was really cool! Our librarian got to take him out to lunch, and I ALMOST got an interview with him since I'm on the school newspaper staff... but it didn't work out crying Still, very cool experience!
