Solsaiden Hel I liked everything about the book. So I will hide under a nearby rock from people's rotten Anti-Harry-Potter-7-vegetables until I finish saying what I liked about it. I feel bad about the people dying, but that's what makes the book solid. I still don't understand how Harry could have lived and died, but I kind of get it if I try hard enough. It's interesting how people either really, really like the book or really, really dislike it. Almost nothing in between. Wonder why...
because peopel either want what they expect to happen to happen and for good to triuph over evil and all that or they want the book to be...well franly less predicatable. It did have it's good points but all in a ll I think she could have done better, although it will most certainly be populaire but i found it was...dissipointing sweatdrop ops staing my opinons as fact...I gotta stop doingh that.

The last book was better than all those that preceded it, at least until Harry doesn't DIE! It would have been perfect if the forest scene never happened and instead Harry duels the Dark Lord in front of everyone at the end and they both die. Now that would have been satisfying and worthy of the brat's supposed bravery and nobility. Even then, it would appear as if everything was just due to sheer dumb luck that the Dark Lord happened to make the mistakes he did, supporting characters just happened to do what they did, and Harry just happened to duel Draco at the right moment. Gawd, I hate his guts. Seriously, how could a 17 year old defeat the greatest wizard who ever 'lived'? The same way a housewife could beat an experienced Death Eater (No! Why did Bellatrix have to die?!) and other 17 year olds could duel trained adults and expect to win! It just isn't realistic.
And Rowling can't write endings even if [insert amusing Kenkaru-like complaints]. A good ending it supposed to leave some ends loose for the readers to fantasise about what will happen next.
And Snape was just plain awesome, hands down. Chapter 33 was the best chapter like EVER written.
