my dad recently bought a schecter C1 classic. it's an awesome guitar and he loves it. i don't know about the hellraiser, but schecter is a reliable brand.

From the hardware to the paint jobs, they are really nice guitars. They are certainly for a more crunchy type of sound.

Now I'm indecisive over whether to get the HellRaiser Avenger or the Synyster Custom. They're the same shape, but the Avenger has EMG's with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and String Thru-Body construction, while the Syn has Seymour Duncan Custom Invaders and an Original Floyd Rose.

If you want to know the details on either of them, you can click the link in the first post (or just go to schecterguitars.com yourself), click on guitars, and find either of them.
