The number of people you've reported really doesn't mean a damned thing, by the way. You can go out and report 50,000 users for cybering, but that doesn't mean you're good. At all. Because another 49,999 people could've reported those same 50,000. And even further, they might even just be warned and not banned. Cybering is not an instant permaban. It's a warning first. Then, I believe, it goes to a 14 day ban. THEN a permaban. So those people could do their offenses two more times until they got that permaban. Then they can just make another account. IP bans don't get handed out because of the problems that makes. A lot of people that break the rules don't use static IP addresses; they use dynamic.
A Dynamic IP address changes. It can be because of a little black box (illegal) or because of Dial-up. Or the person can simply ask their ISP to change their IP address, which is perfectly legal.
A Static IP address does not change. Most users have a Static IP Address. However, that does not mean that a mod can just ban the IP address. What if the person asks their ISP to change their IP? The suggestion has been made to just ban that one, but what people don't seem to get is that the old IPs do not just vanish into thin air. Other people receive those IP addresses. So let's say that you're running on dial-up or your ISP decided to give you a different IP for whatever reason. Well, you just got the IP address of a previous repeat Gaia offender and you cannot log on Gaia because of it. Wonderful, yes? It's very possible (and has happened).

So IP bans are obviously out of the question with people that purposefully post their material. All that can be hoped for is to continuously ban their new accounts. However, you cannot ban new accounts with no evidence. If there is NOTHING wrong with the new account that's been made, then the moderator could very well be demodded for banning the new account. Just because it might be the cyberer or whatever else, it still has not broken any rules and is considered innocent until proven guilty.

Anyway, back to my original point.
Cybering is a heinous ordeal on this site and any other site that has PG-13/NC-17 or whatever other non-X rating. It's "disgusting" or "yucky" to children, of course. I've no feelings for children, however, so I really couldn't care less what their underdeveloped feelings and minds have to say in the matter. It isn't my job to cater to their prejudicial minds. 3nodding

Anyway, I see the purpose of this guild to be looking for advice on reporting cyberers, how to do specific reporting, and how to avoid getting in trouble yourselves. Crying "Yucky!" or "Ew!" is pretty much redundant and unnecessary. What needs to be posted is stuff like "Hey, I ran into a particularly hard decision today: what would've been better for this situation?" or "How do I report in _____?" That kind of stuff seems so much more important.

Now as I've said before, I support cybering, but not on Gaia. If I'm in a roleplay that gets to that point, I first want to make sure that the other person is alright with it. If they are, then we proceed through IMs or a private chatroom. However, if they aren't, then we just do a time skip. Well, there's going to be a time skip regardless. :P Anyway, point of the matter is, I do roleplay sexual acts. I quite frankly enjoy it. And as I've also said before, I used to cyber with my boyfriend - of whom I was already in a physically sexual relationship anyway. When we couldn't be together physically, we had fun through text. I'm sorry if you're too inept or closed-minded to understand that kind of closeness with a person - that kind of desire to be with them always, but it's really not my problem. :3

So anyway, I'm hoping that any of the crew members or Captain that are still active will read this post and try to push to reform the guild into something a bit more respectable than spam posts of "Yucky!" "Ew!" and "I reported 3 people today!" I would muchly love for this guild to become active in discussions and advice threads. 3nodding
