Ok, so everyone knows that the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows happens tonight right? Well, this is where you can post photo's, stories, and anything you want RL event related! No drawn pictures unless its the cover...And NO SPOILING THE BOOK! Keep posts related to the event or the costumes you've seen....Im sure the Captain and Vice captain would not lightly tollerate spoiling of the new book.
SO! I am going tonight and I will be dressed as Narcissa Malfoy. <3. A younger narcissa. My little 5 year old brother with white blonde hair may be going as Draco xD. I currently have no lucius >_<
ANYway...I will be posting pics as soon as the premier is over, if im not to wrapped up in the book.....
YAY *getting to excited*

Hello one and all. I have, 14hrs after recieving the book, "Harry Potter and teh Deathly Hallows." I will not tell you anything but that it has a spectacular, and emotionally and mentally satisfying ending. The book its self is wraught with saddness, happiness, excitment and bit of despair. It is quite possibly the best book of the entire series.
That is all about that.
Now, here are some pictures of the release party at Borders!
Here, Ginny weasley and Draco malfoy (my brother and sister)
Aspiring Death eater Draco, and little Harry potter. Harry and Draco, as thier first duel of the night commences.
another another Final duel of the night. It seems harry said something scating about Draco's mother...
Blood trator Ginny, and half-blood Hermione
Ah, our favorite grounds keeper, Hagrid, with Cissy's favorite sister, Bellatrix. I don't know what Draco is doing slinking aoround that mudblo--Half, blood...But here they are with Trelawny. must be in a bit of a rough spot, charging filthy muggle money for predictions. Ah, my little death eater, accausting a cow... Dont even ask.
I will add some pictures of Bella and I later. Enjoy thies!

Okay, I finally got around to it. Here are our cosplay pics:
Malfoy dressed as (what else) a Slytherin student: *Pic One* *Pic Two*
Our little sister dressed as Hermione: *Pic One* *Pic Two*
And here is a pic of them apparently preparing to duel: *Click*
And I dressed as Snape. Though of course I'm a girl and I look absolutely nothing like Snape, but I did the best I could with what I had to work with. >_O; One of the biggest obstacles was fighting with curly brown hair that's twice as long as I needed it to be. :XP: *Pic One* *Pic Two*
Also we had a party before we went to the book release, and we made a cake with part of the Prophecy on it: *Yay cake!*
Over all it was fun, but the bookstore was so crowded I could barely move! X_x; But luckily claustrophobia is not one of the mental infirmities from which I suffer. sweatdrop

Sly-Averess-Slytherin....I made three of those....o.O How could you have seen them in a costume store? I spent 3 days sewing the cloaks, and 4 sewing my dress....So yes, you might've seen better, but they are NOT from a costume store.Only Draco and Ginny were the ones in my care for cotumes (they do look fairly convincing, maybe not in outfit, but in hair and whatnot), the others were other peoples kids, so yeah they might've gotten it from a costume shop. rolleyes Don't be rediculous. Or rude. The other ones were just regular clothes. Im not going to spend more than $60 dollars on something thats never going to be worn again, atleast not for a long time, and something they'll grow out of. It was only for fun to, not a contest.
And theres no need to quote everything you comment on. Just say the names of people you'r adressing ^^ Its rather simple.
Snape. you actually look really good as snape!! Yeah, you've got a more feminine face, but its shaped a bit like Alan rickmans and your hair goes really well ^^ I think its awesome xD And your sister makes a good Hermione.

I'm not really cosplaying in the pic but my friend from Hp-Ohio is. This is Todd, he plays a really good Snape, although me and my friend made he break character the first time we meet him. It was soo funny my friend Jinx said a poem that she made for me and told it to him ((mature poem not intended for younger people)) he laugh so hard that he invited us to the Hog's Head. I can actually say that Proffessor Snape had ask me on a date 3nodding !

-reserving this post for my pictures- I'll have pictures from my Deathly Hallows party + some wizard rock concerts coming soon.
Is it also alright if I post other Harry Potter cosplays? My birthday is in a few weeks and to celebrate I'm going to see OOTP in IMAX. ( biggrin ) I plan on cosplaying as Pansy Parkinson. :]

When the book was released, I went to a party dressed as Bellatrix Lestrange. My brother was Harry, my Dad was Lucius Malfoy, my Mom was Rita Skeeter and my cousin was Tonks. A group of people I know dressed up as some of the Weasleys: three girls were Fred, George and Ron and a boy dressed up as Ginny!
