Tommy went to the hopital today to see the doc about his leg. You know, cuz the plate in his ankle got eff'd up, screw popped through. Anywho, I was nervous that he would get his surgery today and couldn't wait to talk to him again.
Well, he came back online around 1:30... with aweful news, but I'm trying my best to stay hopeful.
Doc said they don't know about replacing the plate, but more pressing is the bacteria from under the porch that got into the cut in his toe. It will either heal, they'll cut off his toe, foot, or even up to his knee. Worse case scenario; his body won't fight it and ... he'll die.
So I'm pretty scared but I need to be strong for him. I'm trying so hard. I know that he's a fighter. He went through all the bullshit with his leg the first time, this should be easier. Should. The thing that sucks is that he worked so hard over 10years to keep his leg, and now he might have to amputate. <3
I love him and will not leave his side (figuratively) till this is over.

I actually stopped crying once I got to Joy's house. I didn't feel like going to the store but we went anyway because there wasn't much food here for her to eat and I'd feel bad for being lazy while she starves tomorrow. So we went to the store and had fun picking out stuff to eat for the next week and a half (even though we practically bought a month of stuff).
I told her we need to scarf the stuff that goes bad, save the canned food for when she comes back from her vacation.
I'm glad she's around and keeping me happy. I'm glad I have friends that want to make me happy.
