Just any image editing program will do, Paint, photoshop, ect. ect.
I use photoshop, for nifty effects and such.

Um... can i use the one with Oni Link on it? (actually, that's what got me into this guild. I was browsing, and i seen the pic, which made my jaw drop, so i clicked on the link, (sorry, I know that's a horrible pun) and it brought me here.)

*Hopes this works*  Code: IMG http://tinypic.com/b8slrm.jpg /IMG All you need are the brackets to get the image right for sigs. Hope it''s the right size. I tried to keep it 500X500 pixels. EDIT: Does anyone know how to make it so you can "fade" a picture into the background in Paint?

Here's one for your desktops. Not exactly Nintendo only, but...I like it. See if you can't find your favorite "big-name" characters... If not tell me, and I'll fix that.
