@GeenRider: you are asking for an unessasary sequil! I hate it when people do that! We don't need any more harry potter! the deathly hallows was it! The end and they all lived happily ever after! I think we should be perfectly content with the ending, even happy that JK was kind enough to even include an epalog. Seriously? she could have ended it at the last chapter, and then how would you feal? Be happy that she did so well with ending it, we don't need any more harry potter books....

The series is over. Leave the extended stories to the fanfiction authors. I wouldn't want to read it because all my favorite characters are dead. I still think Rowling is insane for killing off all her cool characters and leaving the annoying ones alive. If she writes any more books in the future, I hope that she improves on writing romances because that was a tragic flaw in the HP series. I'd like to see her grow as an author.

eek You're taking what I said the wrong way. I didn't mean to, like, offend anyone or anything, I just said that I would like to see the series continued because she did such a great job on the whole series. I don't want a whole bunch of fanfiction coming out, because then they destroy the series. I'd like Rowling to write it because she knows the characters the best and wouldn't mess things up. That's just my opinion. (Although, I once read a fake Order of the Pheonix, and much preferred it. Way cool. Lots of plot twists. But now I can't find it again. crying )

We read the books before even touching our computers. Even with Gaia's warning, one can assume the spoilers were up long enough to ruin things before the mods found and punished the posters.
My husband and I play WoW and he wouldn't even log on until he'd finished it, as he knew the trade channel would be full of spoilers, or even fake spoilers.
Agreeing with Fairgrass, it is indeed VERY exciting to see a book series create this amount of excitement, paranoia, and discussion. It is also exciting to see that the number of movies based on books is increasing, and good ones are appearing still.
I also like the fact that the fantasy genre is still popular in the mass market. I know this is a trend that will fade when the next franchise rises, but it is still very exciting to see some of my favorite authors gain popularity and movie contracts.

I know I was kind of mad when the book first came out because didn't copy till the following Thursday. I got on here the day after it came out and went to the towns and some retard was shouting out random spoilers. I was like WTF mate? and so I didn't log on to any sites for like the next week until I had finished. I was so mad at that guy.
But to make matters worse I can't talk about it at home because somebody *stares at certain person* won't read it because he "doesn't have time" and he doesn't want me to spoil it for him. He doesn't have time yet he spends all his spare time playing WoW. weirdo.
Any way I thought It was awesome and i agree with Fairgrass. The amount of Euphoria one book could cause was amazing.

Personally I secretly kind of wanted Harry to die. I wanted the death eaters to win and the end to be a world of darkness and chaos. I'm not sure why though, but upon talking to my friend, apparently she wanted that too.

So has he read it yet? I know I was going crazy because I read it, then my husband started listening to it on tape. I could hear exactly where in the book he was, and had to bite my lip so often when I know what was coming.
