Dianne smirked, the boy's silence had spoken for him. Her gray eyes looked down at him through her lashes, which were the same bright red as her precious curls, tipped with golden blonde upon closer inspection, her eyes containing a look of triumph. "I thought so." She said slowly, savoring each word as if it were a rare chocolate. Which reminded her of how much she adored chocolate, which also reminded her of England. She had mixed feelings for her homeland. Though it was in some places dirty and crowded, it was, and always will be, home. But still, her haughty face remained unchanged as she pivoted on her heels and continued walking in the direction she had been heading originally, and would have blended effortlessly into the crowd with her smooth, graceful, cat-like walk, but her appearance kept her from doing that. It was something Dianne was used to. And she savored every minute of the attention, good or otherwise, her hips swaying like the tail of a sleepy cat, effortless and smooth, her bright red curls following in perfect unison.

Kirus was a grateful man, without Haku, he would be lost in this town both in its culture and language as well as in its geographics. He was actually looking forwards to spending a long afternoon with the other man, he was good company, and if Kirus was to admit, the man was beautiful. Of course, it was not often that Kirus found himself without a beautiful man or woman offering themselves as guides to him, until they found out it was what he was after of course. This time, he was unsure as to weather Haku knew or cared, assumed that for now, it was best if neither of them disclose anything. Kirus, for instance was sure, beyond doubt, that Haku and Seti were more than they seemed. A mere inn keeper? He was sure not. Perhaps he was, perhaps Kirus was merely taken in by the mystery of the orient that he had heard so many stories of before taking a long journey across lonely seas.
"I would, my dear heart"
Kirus started in reply to Haku's question as they walked up a dusty hill, already his clean shirt sticking to him in hot sweat
"Like to know the layout of the town in its most entirely. Partly for business, and partly, I admit, for curiosity's sake"
The Englishman raised his head towards the town, his pupils onyx dilating against emerald as he fought against the sun to see the strange houses and beautiful people in rich satins and thin cotton. It was a strange mix of decadence and seemingly poverty that drew Kirus' attention. Of course, there was real poverty to be found here in the midsts of the strange and beautiful town, his work depended on it.

Wind took a hold of Haku's long midnight black hair. Long strands waving around him. He giggled softly as he looked at Kirus. His onyx eyes always gentle and not giving away anything as he looked at the other man. But one looking away sharp again. "Well there is a small drawing of the city nearby. We'll go there first so you can look it over for a moment before showing you the rest. How about that?" Haku asked as he once more stuffed his hands into the sleeves of his kimono. A woman passed them. For a change it were light eyes with which she was looking at the both of them. The onyx eyed man nodded slowly at her with a smile. The woman smiled back in return, her lovely eyes running over the infamiliar man right after. Holding up her umbrella as she giggled softly and passed them. Haku held his mouth shut as the woman passed by. He wanted to tell Kirus that he would be in big trouble if he tried to take her, for she was one of the loved Geisha's of the village. Every men would protect her. But it was better for him to not say that and keep his profile low.

Dianne sighed as she looked around the small port, seeing ships, cargo, men... All those things that fascinated her so greatly. A small smile played across her lips, lifting only one corner in a seductive, mischievous smirk. The smell of the sea filled her nose and the lightest taste of the salty air was on her lips. This was her favorite place to be, though her hanging around with seemingly nothing to do and the more... revealing way she dressed often gave away the impression that she was waiting for customers to happen by. This was not true and though while Dianne more than enjoyed having a little fun, she was selective about who she went after. Her eyes scanned the crowd, people buying, selling, or trading away their goods as Dianne's green eyes absorbed all they could. How she desperately wanted a book right now, though they were very expensive to get a hold of. Or even just a piece of paper and a pencil, so she could create words of her own... She sighed, deciding to leave the torment behind her and wander back into the city and find herself something to drink.
