I don't know where to put a topic like this, but I need some feedback and brainstorming from some of you. I had an idea for a new game last night, and I need some help and possibly volunteers to help me with the game.
(I'm using the rpg toolkit. I posted a link of it in the rpg toolkit help if you're interested in helping me or just playing around with it yourself.) Anyway, if this isn't in the right section, just notify me and I'll move it where it needs to go.
So, without further ado, my game idea.

The year is 2029. Everywhere, computers have become a nessecary part of life. However, as the technology has evolved, so have the people who crack the technology. Two virtual "armies" of hackers have waged a war against one another. The gang who calls themselves the Katanas seek to bring peace to the virtual world, thwarting the efforts of their rivals, the chaos-loving Warheads. Also standing in the way of the Katanas are the Enforcers. The Enforcers are the officials of the virtual world. And as the licensed peacekeepers, the Enforcers do everything in their power to keep hackers, be they Katana, Warhead, or neither, at bay. You are a rookie who has just joined the Katanas. As you grow, so does your "avatar," or virtual image of yourself. Throughout your story, you must go between the virtual world and the real world, sabotaging the Warheads, escaping the Enforcers, cracking firewalls and passwords, all while keeping your identity secret from the authorities.

Recruitment for Katanas
-Only after a certain point of the story.

-people you recruit join your squad
Turf Battles
-Fight Warheads for turf
-The more turf you have, the more support you have from others
-Also affects recruitment.
-more turf = more recognition
Enforcer Backup
-Some enforcers can be persuaded to back you up during turf battles.
-beat them in combat, do favors for them, impress them
-each enforcer chief you persuade has a squadron of 6 enforcers to back you up.
-backup varies for squadron
Rank progression
-rise through the ranks to command your own squads
-hold your own turf
-build bases and command posts.
A variety of classes to choose from for your avatar
-Warrior
-Mage
-Thief
-Samurai
-Ninja
-Fighter
-Berserker
-Gunslinger
-Sniper
-Demo expert
-Assassin
-More to come!

This is a good idea! The only thing a little iffy is the names... maybe changing the Katanas to something else. Warheads is a little odd as well, but I think you should change Katanas. Never mind, Warheads is okay, it just sounds like the sour candy.

Yes, everything else sounds fine. As for names, I think you're going for the "We're veeeeeeery dangerous so don't mess with us you pathetic mortal" sort of vibe, right? Okay, maybe not verbatim what I just said, but something along those lines? You're on the right track I suppose, it's just that for today's violence standards, those names don't really instill terror into the hearts of many. Try gang names with more than one word and with references that aren't Japanese (Katanas is a bit overused).
