First I want to say that I like the minotaur and pose.

The only thing I can think of is that the minotaur's left shoulder is a little small. With that pose, though, I can't really tell if the minotaur's shoulders are supposed to be smaller in comparison to the forearms (because that's what it looks like).

more dynamic poses can be achieved with foreshortening, but another key element (which you can find in FF's example image) is a dynamic line of motion.

i'm not very good at explaining it, but thankfully, you can find it in practically any comic-book how to draw tutorial, and it's probably one of the few things that are actually of any use to learn.

I love the Ram. I love anything that uses that sort of asian-influenced linear cloud/floral motif..unfortunately the seem to require enough patience that they dont ever make it into any of my own art work.
