Splinter Cell is one of the biggest selling stealth game in the market. but it does have competition. like Metal Gear Solid, and Assassins Creed is coming out soon(looks awesome! whee ). so what other stealth game are out there, and why do you like Splintercell more?
i'll start...
i've played Metal Gear Soild 2, and it was a great game and everything. fun, enjoyable, good plot. but i stuck with splintercell because its realistic. on MGS2 everything is completely fictional, and nothing could be real. in splinter cell, everything could be real. MGS2 you dont contantly hid in shadows, pull of acrobatic feats, etc. yeah. how about you guys?

i like the box on MGS2. it was hilarious. sometimes when i was bored i ran around in a box for fun.

One stealth game I have been getting into is Hitman. I also like MGS but I have only played the first one because I don't have a PS2. xp The las Prince of Persia had a limited stealth option, but I enjoied that a lot and I think Assassin's Creed will expand that greatly.

i can't WAIT for assassins creed. looks spectacular.

i knew Bourne had books but yeah. never got into them.
they should make Bourne into a videogame!
oh, also, Mission Impossible! fantastic movies. i had the game for N64, and it was good. but i got it for xbox also, and it sucked. really it did. tried too hard but fell too short to be a stealth game.

splinter cell did so good as just plain stealth, but lately it seems that stealth games are going into social stealth such as splinter cell 5 and assasins creed

You can't really compare MGS to SC, as SC a completely realistic vision of modern day espionage, while MGS relies on fantasy, and super hero like characters.
I've played both SC and 3 of the MGS series games, and I'd say that Splinter Cell is by far more addictive and challenging to play.

No one should ever put Splinter cell and MGS in the same sentence. EVER they are 2 completely diffrent things.
And yes I know I just did. But they are completely diffrent games MGS isn't a stealth game yes people say it is but it's not.
And that's my opinion.
