i win
so
ive been playing some pc games a lot lately
those are namely these:

DARK MESSIAH OF MIGHT AND MAGIC
a first person game with swords and magic. not so much rpg. you "level up" by completing objectives. i thought it was going to be generic storyline but then it totally thrusted me in a new direction
the only problem i see is, after only... 12 levels (?) and only about 13 hours of gameplay (makes me want more the way the game is made D: ) and a very linear style makes me want to see what would have happened if they took those gorgeous graphics and let me see great open plains and find missions of my own
great game nonetheless, but the special edition doesnt seem worth 10 bucks more for a so so soundtrack and some behind the scenes stuff (who cares?)

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II
ive played it on ALL of the consoles
psp
pc
xbox (im counting xbox same as ps2 for all intensive purposes)
and my personal belief is that the pc one is the best
its made the best, the controls fit it the best, and the heroes are the funnest to play on the pc (the psp controls just make it hard, unless your boba fett :3 )
soya just letting you know its the best on the pc biggrin

STAR WARS EMPIRE AT WAR
such a brilliant mix of battle for middle earth (units being made in groups, and selected in groups) battlefront (capturing command posts and buildings by standing next to them, then using those to deploy more units from space or make more) and just about every rts ever. its so awesome
the only thing is, after playing the awesome game Homeworld: Cataclysm, i would like to see what would have happened if they had made the space battles in EaW fully 3D as well, instead of over the top
the space battles are fun nonetheless, and very tactical, telling people to specifically go fore their weapons, then having Xwings cover those bombers, and frigates to match their frigates is hectic fun and fast and brilliant

Homeworld: CATACLYSM
my god.
best rts ever in my book. fully 3D rts in deep space. create and armada and let them loose on your sad sorry beast foes in a brilliant story of a mistake reawakening of a biomechanical virus and retribution of the mining ship fighting back against it.
the only thing is, its old. so the graphics are meh. even so old, the space effects (the deep nebulas and colors in the background) and their eye to detail make the graphics timeless, but to an extent
love this game

1) its free
2) you play as a ninja
3) its hard
4) its flash
what are you waiting for? google "N" now and download it, otherwise you suck!!!

GUILD WARS: PROPHECIES/FACTIONS
prophecies is the best of the two
mostly because of how they made it
the quests in factions just feels like they slapped them together while in prophecies theyre intrecate and lovely like a spider web biggrin
factions is cool mainly for the pvp biggrin love the pvp
and the sins (assasins)

WOW:
i played wow a bit
and i like it
in comparison to GW it feels more cheaply made and slapped together
so in comparison
Guild Wars is to WoW like Velveeta is to Mac and cheese
Velveeta tastes great, but you dont want another serving cus its too rich (even after a couple of days) but it is possible to get hooked
and then Mac and cheese is good too, but you want more of it later, and possibly the next day, leaving you with a macandcheese binge

RAGNAROK:
its pretty good
im mostly hunting right now to get my char up to job lvl 50 or so and get enough money so my gf can marry me whenever she gets on there

its fun
but they take the anime settings a tad bit too far.
who in actuality would kill baby wolfs? or globs of goo with faces on them?
its a tad bit rediculous, the style, but beyond that the settings and towns, and characters are gorgeous with their 3D environments meets drawn in anime chars style

but what i really wanna play on the pc is EVE

anyways
i didnt really rate anything cus theyre old, but basically all of them get highs besides ragnarok (medium) and N (medium) even tho N is awesome for being free, i beat too much of it and the rest of it is too hard and frusterating for me ><

yeah im too poor to get every single new game
but i can tell you all the cool games i have biggrin
