Yeah....sorry Rian, I'm terrible at naming RPs. "For crying out loud, you sack of fur and feathers, get moving. We've wasted nearly half of the day just so you could lounge in the grass. Time is a luxury." Crossing his arms, a pale young man frowns very accusingly at his companion griffon. Wearing traveling clothes in the hues of marroons and mahogany, he stands out as a stark contrast to the deep marine green tones of his griffon, though the beast did have some muddied red on his form as well.
The griffon merely clicks his beak, enjoying the cool grass far too much to care if he was slowing their trek down. It was the perfect time to lounge! Didn't the human get it yet? Continuing to ignore him, the creature merely rolls over onto his side, facing away from the noise nuissance.

Aisu is wild so, this should be interesting ^.^ Give me a bit to get warmed up. I haven't RPed in like 800,000 years XD (Griffins can talk to eachother right? Just not with humans?) Awakened by a strange bout of noise not too far off Aisu rose and walked out into the light of midday sun. It was warm and felt good on her back. Her pace was slow as she moved towards the source of the noise, almost as if she didn't care to see what it was at all, and normally she wouldn't, but she was bored and what better way to pass the time than to frighten some unsuspecting passerbys? As she neared the place where the sound had been coming from the wind shifted and carried scents to her. Human and... a griffin! What was going on over there? Interested now she picked up her pace while attempting to remain as quiet as before.
When she crept up over the last hill and looked down she saw the cause of the sleep disturbing noises. A human in brightly colored clothing and a griffin, a male griffin, there hadn't been one around for some time, but that isn't the point. The point is that for some reason this man was speaking to the griffin like it would actually listen to him, and the griffin was paying no attention at all.
Debating for a few moments with herself Aisu finally decided to go speak with the other griffin. Moving down the hillface in his direction she paid no attention to the human other than listening for any movements he may make. Stopping within five feet of the male she looked at him and tilted her head to the side. A soft quizzical trill escaped her as if she was saying What is going on?.

((Oh, then it should be interesting indeed. And yep, the griffons can speak with each other.))
Still ignoring his human, the beast flicks his ear tufts slightly, giving a quick clicking of his beak. His human just groans, giving him more accusations again, but he wasn't going to be bothered by that noise.
"Meji! Enough fooling around, we're supposed to be halfway there by now." He frowns, about to say more before a moving shape of white, and a few other colors, comes into his sight. "Oi, Meji come on. Now we've got company." Well, that seemed to get his griffon's attention. Well, either the tone of his voice or the creature caught their scent, he didn't care which.
Meji rolls back onto his stomache, and skawks indignantly at the fact that in the time it took his lazy actions to complete, the she-griffon was almost beak to beak with him. He ruggles his feathers, clicking his beak and trilling back not impressed. Seaky sneaky.Sneaking is not good. he calms himself, turning to preen at an out of place feather before trilling again. What's going on is resting. Who are you.

Aisu was slightly amused by the male griffin's actions. He seemed to be startled by her appearance. Her eyes lit with laughter as he skawked and ruffled his feathers. A series of clicks and trills were emitted in response to his own I am Aisu. What do you call yourself? After a moment she trilled again I didn't mean what are you doing, I wanted to know why that human is sitting there skawking at you and why you're here. Her last trills seemed to be filled with disgust.
She took a step towards the human and clicked her beak, just to see what sort of response she would get. Most humans ran off when she approached them, she preferred it that way after what they had done to her family.

Frowning, he stares at the new griffon warily, not daring to move a muscle yet or risk provoking her.
Meji just clicks his beak again at her. Human? My human. He stays with me, I keep things from killing him, I get food. Why not like humans? he fluffs his feathers more when Aisu clicks her beak at his human, and skwawks at her lightly. My human. Mine.
The human tenses, taking a quick step backwards at having a beak snapped in his face. he almost reaches for a small dagger he kept with him, but it looked like Meji had things under control. He does take a slight step closer to his griffon, the bulk of feathers easy to keep him a good distance from that beak, and those claws if the she-griff decided that she wanted to attack.

Aisu takes a step back looking alarmed. This griffin protected a human? Maybe he doesn't know what they do... that could be the only logically explanation for his odd behavior. Your human? Don't you know what they do to griffins like us? Her trills were slightly higher pitched than usual, perhaps because she was so uneasy about this human and griffin pair.
As she clicked at the human and he takes a step backwards she nods ever so slightly as if saying that he had done the right thing. Aisu didn't like humans, not one bit after what they had done but she wasn't so lowly as to attack such a weak creature, at least, not unless they were the ones that had destroyed her family.

The human relaxes a bit, seeing the female griffon's demeanor shift a bit as her focus leaves him again. The way she was acting, either she was wild, or very, very bold..
Meji almost bristles a little bit. My human is mine. He does nothing but feed and try to make me understand his stupid words. His humans are good too. Lots of attention and food from them. Honestly, what did this female have against humans? Sure, some of them were bad, but most of them treated griffons quite well. And most of them adored his kind for their colorful plumage. The female there would be loved if she even stepped into a city, if she didn't go on a killing spree first.

Aisu wasn't going to trust this human but she wasn't going to hurt him either. Her attention stayed with the male griffin but she always had one ear and eye out for the human and anything else that may approach. They feed you so you don't attack them and then they destroy families... like mine. The last trill was so soft it was barely audible.

Meji clicks his beak again, the closest he could come to a human expression like frowning. He trills again, flapping a wing absently to rustle its feathers. My human and his kind don't hurt. I was raised by them, and a bunch more of us back home. Those humans are good.

Aisu clicked her beak and narrowed her eyes I bet you they wouldn't like me, I'm a wild griffin, one that attacks the villages and kills the humans... her trills were laced with sarcasm. In truth Aisu had never killed anyone or destroyed any villages but she did take great pleasure in scaring the daylights out of humans and their tame griffins every so often. And how do you know they aren't taking away wild griffins? How do you think you're ancestors got stuck with the humans? We were all wild once... her trills were smooth but serious and it was obvious she was trying to make him see things her way.

Meji ruffles his feathers just a bit. Stolen eggs of course. I've never met a wild griffin before now, so that's how I know. If there were wild ones being caught they act different. He cocks his head to the side slightly, giving a sideways glance to his human. The humans I travel with are too scrawny to mess with anything wild besides rabbits anyway. He gives an odd sound, which could almost be taken as some strange laughter.

Aisu stared at him incredulously. You're okay with them stealing eggs?! she screeched and fluffed up her feathers. To her family eggs had been very important. It meant the survival of their bloodline. One time, shortly before her family had been taken an egg had gone missing, her younger sibling had been taken and could be anywhere right now, living... or dead? Who knew? Do you realize how much work us wild griffins put into caring for our eggs?! And then the humans... She took a moment to glare pointedly at Meji's companion and snap her beak before continuing just come in while we are off on one of our few hunting excursions and take them away! It was obvious that this was a subject Aisu was very passionate about and wasn't about to let it go without him realizing just what the trouble actually was.
