Well, many of you may not know who I am, I'm a user who hasn't been around since the forming of the guild, but I have been a member longer than some people. I'm one of those people who tend to read posts in the guild but usually not post anything. Well, today I actually have something to post!
I hail from the Laporte, Indiana Ward part of the Valporaso, Indiana Stake. It's in the Northwestern part of the state, not too far from Chicago.
Currently our ward has three full time missionaries out, one who coming home within 2 months, one I'm not sure about, and the third one just left on his mission.
We have two more who have turned in their papers, although I think only one has recieved his call so far (not sure where he's heading off to).
But the BIG thing, is there are 5 17-yr olds in my priests quorum (and other than that we only have 1 teacher in the aaronic priesthood at our ward. Farely small ward, really, despite the fact that I moved to this one from a small branch with only 2 aaronic priesthood holders, including myself), including me, who will all turn 19 within a few months of each other (my b-day is May 1) and who all plan on turning in their papers as soon as they're (we're) old enough, and providing all five of us hold to that, and depending on where we get sent to, we're all most likely (or most of us) will be in the MTC at the same time. It's exciting!

Now, so this thread has a purpose other than me bragging (my bad, I'm just excited!) please post the status of your branch or ward (how many missionaries you have out, if any), and how many will be going out in the next 2 years. Also, if you're going to be one of those, or if you're too young, your intent, or if you're too old, or are a return missionary, whatever else, etc... lol, kinda random, sry, but hey, ya get the idea!

my priests quorum had 22 priests growing up - more than a dozen of them are on missions now, serving in:
Guana, Cape Coast Africa
Ogden, Utah
Baltimore, Maryland
Tampa Bay, Florida
Some where in Arizona,
Manchester, England
Burmingham, England ( *2)
Toronto, Canada
Montreal Canada (*2)
Some where in Mexico ( *2)
Guatemala
SIBERIA!!!
(LAS VEGAS - but I'm home now)
Of course, I'm also counted those that have left from my singles ward. I haven't include the five that just returned from their missions...
But I'm always excited to see many youth turn age to go on missions and do so - it is so very exciting
(bytheway, we only had 3 teachers and 1 deacon to couple our quorum of 22 priests)

umm... not sure on our numbers. I know we have... I think five elders out. A sister just got back. And we have a senior couple out. I dunno how many are going to be going out in the next couple of years. xD; This group that's going out now are the ones I'm closest to. The next set I don't know nearly so well. And I'm going out myself... in... one month exactly. ._.,
Today's actually my last day on gaia. xD
Oh.. and... the missionaries are in... erm... Portugal, Russia, I think one's in El Salvador, but don't really remember. The senior couple is in Texas. And I'm going to be heading to Spain Barcelona. :3
Yup yup. Fun stuff. haha. The guys my age are coming back. One in my ward gets back the day before I leave! And another friend gets back a couple weeks after I'm gone. Crazy beanses.

Risu, HOLY COW? You're in the LaPorte Ward? I think that's the ward my Grandmother is in. I used to live in LaPorte. Do you know Sis. Grimes? That would be my grandmother smile
Anyways, we have.. 1 member out, though his family just got relocated to our ward, so I have no idea who he is. My best friend will be 18 next month, so he will be turning in his papers in a little over a year.
I MIGHT be going on a mission, but I've got around three years until I'm old enough..

Well, I don't know her personally, but I just checked the roster (my dad's first counselor in the Bishopric) and there is a Grimes who attends, so yeah, that's where I go! That's awesome!!
