I just noticed this lovely unused section and decided I ought to make sure that this subforum wasn't a waste. The follow works are going to be divided up into two sections: paintings and drawings. I'll list mediums used with each work, and I'll note if it's a WIP or finished. I do accept commission requests. They will be priced at the time that the request is made. The time it will take for the artwork requested to be finished will vary on my work load with school and if I have time during the move I'm currently in the process of starting.Directory 1.) You are here! 2.) Drawings 3.) Paintings 4.) Doodles coming soon

D R A W I N G SCrappy fairy with dragon
Pencil. I have no idea how long it took to draw this. It is complete. I was having problems with anatomy when I did this, but I feel it earns some merit with the use of shading. In the paintings section is WIP progress of the revised design.
Upwards
Pencil again. I think this one took me two days of work while I was answering phone calls at my old job. There has been some cleanup in paint to remove eraser smudges.
Dragonfly XP
This is a quick finished sketch in pencil, ballpoint pen, and crayons. It's not meant to be a drawing on its own. I was working on concepts for a poster to go in a newborn's room at the request of the mother and this cute little guy was developed. He's a long way from what the finished design looked like, but I like him none the less. This took about 3 hours. Touch up on eraser smudges in paint.
NEW!The Truth About Mermaids
I appologize for the poor picture quality on this one. This is a 14"x17" poster in sepia pencil. Because of the size I had to dangle it over my scanner, so the color was lost and most of the picture isn't present. I will load a photograph of it once I find my stinking usb cable. Anywho, this took me three days to finish, and what you cannot see is a mermaid sitting in the background with a lounging merman. There are cliffs and the sea in the background. The shore is littered with the skeletal remains of the groups last supper, namely the crew of an unsuspecting ship. XD
NEW! Pirate Fairy
Has anyone gotten the idea that I'm a bit of a fantasy art nerd yet? o.o No? Good. Anyway, this took about five hours of work. Mechanical Pencil done per request of my mother.W I PMirror
This sketch will never be finished. I started this as a rough workup of a character in a roleplay that died.
Infected Girls
I just got one of those nifty drawing pad thingies for my computer last year. This is an experiment in contrast I'm working on.
NEW! Truth About Mermainds Original Concept
Another picture destined to never be completed. This is when I got the original idea for Truth. I did this one at work in mechanical pencil.
NEW! Another $%&$)% Mermaid Pic
Study in movement that I'm working on. All the scale work is going to be based off my goldfish Machiavelli.
NEW! Another Style of Dragon
Self explanitory!
NEW! Dress Design
Fashion design madness.

P A I N T I N G SI work in acrylic and oil primarily. At the moment the only photo I have of one of my finished paintings is of a piece I did about 4 years ago as my final in one art class or another.
"Do I Know You From Somewhere?"
This is acrylic and collage. It's 18"x24" and is the first in what will eventually a three piece set.W I PUntitled
Acrylic and oil. I have no idea what the size specs are. It's about the size of a door though. I couldn't fit all of the picture on camera, but the top portion of the underpainting (the brown/red) is almost complete at the top and features an arch like the one in the finish painting above, with a small dish containing dead ivy and candles on each pillar. This painting has at least 20 more hours of work to go, not including the drying time on the oils. >.<
Untitled
Acrylic and oil (eventually!). This is a painting based on one of the sketches listed above. What you're looking at is the underpainting base of acrylic. Once this part is finished, this will be lacquered in oil paints. The only parts that are more or less finished are the face of the fairy and the dragon. Her torso is wonky because it only has one thin layer of paint down. This one has an insane number of hours left.

Oh! I love the way you shade! And your art style. >: It's pretty! You make nice backgrounds too. I'd be too lazy to do anything with backgrounds, and even if I did... I think it would look real bad.
Hope to see more of your art!

Yeah I can't believe how great she is, I wish I could draw that well, however the only way to get up there is by keep attempting right?
So hey do you have any pictures? No matter how they look, you should post them up, and keep striving to do better, we'll be there to help encourage you along the way ^_^.

Kind of us to say? Well it is the honest truth, I agree with baka ken, I really wish I could draw like that, and lol I am trying my best but lol still not as good as you, I suppose I'll have to put a few more years into it, but regardless I think what you have right now is amazing! And definitely awe inspiring since it pushed me to draw more.
