Epi 5: A beautiful patient named Andrea flirts with a male nurse. He feels the connection but tries to have her stop flirting because it's making him uncomfortable. Later, the same man must deal with another woman who is not happy to be treated by a man. He also helps treat a runner named Nicole. A very young girl drops by the clinic because she thinks she may have an STD.
Epi 6:13-year-old Tess comes to the clinic to have her arm be relocated. After examining her, the doctor doesn't believe Tess dislocated her arm after falling off a curb; he suspects that someone did that to her. This case will end up in court. One couple considers egg donation to get pregnant. As the process gets underway, the wife makes a startling revelation that puts her couple in jeopardy.
Sources confirm that David Sutcliffe is being added to the cast of Private Practice as a love interest for — but of course — Kate Walsh's mantrap, Addison.
On the plus side, the cases are getting more interesting, and Cooper and Violet are showing some serious Mer-Der potential. On the downside, Addison remains a shell of her former self, and KaDee Strickland's Doczilla Dr. King is being written with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. I'm hanging in there, though… at least long enough to see David Sutcliffe mix it up with Kate Walsh. I have a hunch these two are gonna be pretty great together.
