Shimoyake awoke suddenly to the morning light peering in from in between the leaves of the tree he had slept under. He had had the weirdest dream; he dreamt that all the other Kuniku had mistaken him for a female. He shuddered at the thought of such an insult.

Lazily, he got up and stretched his cramped limbs before heading in the direction of a stream he knew to be close by. It was a beautiful days, as usual; the grass was soft and green beneath his paws, the sky was a glorious shade of blue dotted only by the occasional white fluffy cloud and- when he reached the stream- the waters were clear and cool. Dipping his muzzle into the waters, he took a long drink before sitting back on his haunches to survey his perfect suroundings.

'This is the life,' he thought.

Kita was an early bird as some would suggest. She wasn’t for sleeping such beautiful mornings away. The sun wasn’t harsh and the dew placed on the flowers gave her a sense of peacefulness. Frolicking through the woods she tapped little closed flowers with the tips of her front paws and watch them slowly bloom as she went from one to the other. Kita lifted her head as she walked, and hummed to a slow tune. “Do de dum de de do da beautiful day, beautiful day.” she smiled as she sang avoiding stepping on any of the gorgeous flowers.

Ji, her mouse, was close by, scurrying at her tail and watching as the flowers began to dance with vibrant colors under the trees. He squeaked when kita moved to fast, and she would slow her pace for him to catch up.

Hoko was definitely not an early starter. She plodded dozily through the warm forest, yawning, in hope of coming across some sort of food she could enjoy.
She'd been woken up by the sniffing of a curious fox, but once she gave it a half-hearted woof it had slunk away as fast as it could into the trees. She hadn't been able to fall back asleep, so here she was.

Hoko was hopeful that she would meet some other Kuniku today; she had been travelling on her own for quite some time now that she and Tori had parted ways, and she missed the conversation.

Kita stopped her song when she saw a little white spot shivering behind a bush. "Whats that?" she questioned herself. When managing a closer look kita quickly realized that it was just a little rabbit. But, it didn't look like ji knew what it was because he was scared, and confused, hiding behind kita's scarf. "You're so silly." she laughed, and wondered why the little rabbit was shaking so violently.

"You okay little one?" her voice was soft, and smooth. She wasn't a threat. But, threat or not it didn't look like the rabbit was in the mood to stick around, and quickly dashed off into the trees when kita spoke. "Aw-well." she sighed. Feeling a little sided by the incident, she spotted a figure through the trees. Pink. Bright pink colors in the form of another kuniku. "Mm. Should we go introduce ourselves?" kita looked down at ji, who quickly responded with the shake of his head and a mear 'squeek' signalling he wasn't into a conversation.

"You just hush!" she pouted, and looked back at the figure through the leaves.

With yet another great yawn, Hoko stopped in her aimless walk and plonked herself down onto the grass. She blinked blearily, sniffing around to try and detect if there was any food, such as berries perhaps, nearby.
The smell she caught on the cool breeze however was certainly not that of berries, it was very distinctly of another Kuniku.
Hoko brightened up immediatley, and woke up more so than she had been. Looking around the forest she quickly noticed the white Kuniku, her shiny coat and blue stripes stood out starkly against the lush greens of the forest.
She didn't want to seem too forward; but she was simply too happy to have found some company and decided she may as well introduce herself. She stood up and trotted in the Kuniku's direction, "Hello there! I'm Hoko." She said this with abright smile and a wag of the tail, whilst noticing the small mousy companion the Kuniku had with her.

Kita smirked when she saw the other kuniku walking closer, but ji wasn't to much into the idea. As usual, he hissed but stayed hiden under kita's scarf with just his little head poking out. Shouting in the space between her and the other kuniku, she smiled and continued. "Im kita, nice to meet you hoko!" she looked over the female as she moved closer. Bright colors, which fit nicely on her. Kita almost felt a little jelous, but she knew that white and blue were the only colors that fit her. She had had an incident in the past were she was smaller and decided to play with human paint, wasn't pretty.

Kita began to laugh when ji scurried under her scarf. His small little paws tickled her, and she was a very giggly kuniku.

Hoko smiled when Kita offered her name, and watched as the little mouse disappeared. "A mouse? Is he your companion?" She enquired in what she hoped was a polite manner. She hadn't made any conversation in some time, so she was a little stuck on what to say. The last Kuniku she'd met was Gabi, and she hadn't really had to talk much then, he was a quiet guy.

"I've heard of Kuniku travelling with small creatures but I've never met someone with one." She added on with a smile, sitting down on the soft grass.

"You could say that. I found him when he was soon to become food for a snake. I couldn't let the snake take him at so young, so he sort of became me child, I guess." she smiled, looking at ji as he started to come out more and more to see that the female wasn't a threat to kita. "So, hoko, what brings you to these parts? With those bright pink colors you can't be from around here.. or is that I must be blind that I havent seen you before?"

Kita was curious, because she hadn't had a conversation in awhile either, it made her more and more questing to what hoko was all about.

"That was very kind of you!" Hoko said with a smile. She'd never really paid much heed to the smaller creatures of the wild around her, perhaps that was why she hadn't acquired herself any small companions during her life. She listened thoughtfully to Kita's question.
"Oh no, I was born far down on the southern coast of Honshu. I did travel with a companion for a while; but not it's just me so I'm going to see where my nose leads me. How about you?"

Kita aknowleged the comment. "Auctually I live not far from here, I usually make my rounds in the morning, just one big circle." she smiled, looking hoko over carefully. She wasn't sure if she couldn't think of something to talk about or was just in aw with having a conversation with another kuniku. Stepping forward, she proded the female in the direction she was planning on walking.

It might be possible to have a better talk while walking. There would obviosly be more to talk about.

A young female kuniku walked through the forest. A frown formed on her face as she trudged through the grass, "It's so...green." Sazanami wasn't particularly fond of the color, so she continued on her way in hopes of seeing something other than plant life. She looked around as best as she could, prefering not to use her wings unless she was traveling long distances. Soon enough, Sazanami did see some other kuniku.

"......" Sazanami stopped walking, not sure whether she should talk to them or not. She looked at the two older females and tilted her head, unsure of what to do next.
