At the new MC's this month, and The people who had hoards of letters, they lost so much gold by hanging onto those letters.
I'm so glad I didn't buy any.

But I also feel kinda bad for them.

it's kinda funny listening to them complaining.........I didn't buy any with cash, and sniped a whole 2 for my collection, so I have no worries. I always wait till the items come out to decide to buy.

I saw a girl today in the exchange trying to sell off 107 sealed envelopes for 10k, she lost half a million gold on them thinking she would profit. Oo man that would suck.
:] Lesson be learned, take extreme caution if you plan to hold onto your letters for opening day, I don't even suggest doing it with large amounts of letters unless your an extreme millionarre and losing a million wont hurt you. XD

gonk I fought for like an hour trying to get a couple of violins and cheep letters at like.. 11-12k each and then like... 20 minutes later... the price dropped to like 9k.. i started crying crying

I lost like 4k because I bought them for 12k and I bought 2. But then I won 1st place and third place in a tek tek contest and got a free letter and 500g, so I guess it's okay. =)

Yeah, I don't like the Gaia letter items that much, anymore. People want to charge so much for them, but they just suck! I stopped actually paying for them about 8 months ago. It's just not worth it. I wanted to work for Gaia as one of the artists so that I could create items that were worth it for people, but I don't live near them and they never got back to me. (I wanted to know if I could just work for them through the internet). Whatever, though. My ideas would kick a**! It's what I want to do for a living, well, not with Gaia, anyway. Oh, well. My advice, don't buy any letters until you know what the items are.

I bought 40 letters at 12k each this month, I lost 40k already...*sigh* at least I'm not complaining!
