If you won't stand for our troops....
Get a bunch of sta so that you can take the hits. As well as Str. I wouldn't think very much dex would be needed, however. ....go stand in front of them.

No actually. I've come to notice that dex builds get pwned too much. With my str build, all I need is Haste and mastered cannonball and I'm at 100% ATKSPD. And with my high str, I deal an assload of dmg. biggrin You can go dex build if you wanna be uber fast, but after a certain amount of dex it's wise to go with str. After 100% speed, it's virtually useless to keep adding dex. ....go stand in front of them.

I would try a DEX/STA build
maybe something like....
STR-30
STA-xx
DEX-50
INT----

An easier way would be to get an RM and make an awesome blade build.
The RM will just keep you going meaning giants would be easy, also meaning you don't have to make a silly STA blade build D:

I think it really depends on your gear/money.
Like I hear a lot of people say once you get your gear and weapons to +8 then you will still be able to hit like 70% of the time then add RM buffs and it goes up even more and in that case you want to unload into STR and will do really big hits on giants and kill them pretty quick.
Perosnally, I go with the 100 dex, 50 stam, rest str for giants....cause I dont always have a RM to hunt with and 100 dex + berserk = good attack speed smile I am just in Recorn, but with the set bonus plus Berserk I hit 100% attack speed and can drop a giant to his heal before the berserk runs out.
