Chastity nodded, grinning. "I heal really fast. My sister Charity and I play all the time. I get a little bloody during our play times, and they heal up all really fast. It's pretty useful, especially if I were to go after some really big game meal sometime."
"I have 2 brothers and a sister. I don't see my brothers too much, but their names are Patience and Zeal. They must be really busy." she continued, rambling as Doron sometimes did.

His bright blue eyes grew as big as saucers. "Healing that quick?" Then a flicker of something. Bloody? During play? Why...?
But hearing about her brothers momentarily distracted Doron. "wow! Four of you?" Swirl marked tails thumped excitedly at the thought. Maybe if he had more siblings one would play with him more. Sere was not very good at playing anything other than hide & go seek. And that he was usually the hider & they were supposed to be playing something else. At least that's how Doron saw it. "Chastity, Charity, Patience & Zeal? Those are great names! Virtues, Right? Your parents must be into that." He said with a grin, thinking that was just as interesting as everything else.

"Well, father's name is Envy. So I guess it follows in the course... I have no idea what I would name my young. Should I ever have them..." Chastity said with a grin. "I love to play, but from what I'm told, me and my family members are a bit rough when it comes to that. I grew up that way, so that's just how I play. I guess maybe it's more like.... fighting, only we don't think of it that way."

Wait... changes shape... Envy... "Your father's Envy?" His eyes were wide, more in shock than fear. Aunt Ginny & Cousin Lily said Envy did mean things. But his new friend was nice and fun and... Doron liked her a lot. His head tilted. She seemed nice enough. Maybe her da wasn't really as bad as all that. "If we played something other than chase... would you hurt me?" Again, not afraid, just curious. "I don't heal any faster than anyone else. Unless my cousin Hemi helps. He's not really a cousin... I've not met any of my real cousins. I don't think I've ever fought... just wrestled a bit." He was watching her, still with his head tilted. "But I like play."
Then his bright blue eyes looked like they were threatening to roll back into his head. Was he going to fall asleep again?

"I'd take it easy on ya then." Chastity said with a laugh, and pounced Doron hoping to keep him awake. It was boring when he slept, and it happened more often than any other kitsu she knew. "See? I know when not to use my teeth."
Doron was quite curious, but she was more than happy to hang out with him. She wasn't like her sister, looking for a mate. But who knew where things might lead?

he umphed in surprise as he was pounced, stunned at first then grinning. It widened, realizing she wanted to play more. Doron wondered if she was always this willing to play games... if she was, he'd be out to realm this way a whole lot more often!
He laughed, batting at Chastity then playfully growling as he attempted to wrestle with her. "I don't mind if you use your teeth, just don't draw blood or Ma'll have a fit!"
Wiggling to try to find a way to turn the table and pin her, Doron giggled at the thought of his playful ma having kits again. She'd like that probably. If she could get Da to stay awake long enough to 'summon the bunny' as Chroma still called it. Doron knew better, not that he really thought much about such things. Why look for a mate when a playmate was much more fun!

"Okay, I can work with that." Chastity said with a grin, rolling off and bouncing off a short distance. "Come get me if you can."
With a smirk she darted off. She knew he was good at hunting, so maybe him running after her wouldn't take too long and they could wrestle more. But she wanted to give him the chance for being the pouncer.

There was a brief second of disappointment. She didn't want to wrestle? Wait... chase? Doron grinned, jumping up excitedly to his feet He loved to play chase! With a happy and eager yip he chased after her.
He had good legs for running. And... he really wanted to catch Chastity. She had spunk and vitality and played with him. Doron put on an extra burst of speed, getting excited. Maybe if he could pounce her, they could wrestle again.
An almost predatory grin spread across his maw and he looked for the best moment. There. if she kept going that way she would have to slow down to either turn or dodge into the trees. Probably. At least he hoped so. He only wanted to have to pounce her once. This time. Hopefully there would be other days and other games and other pounces. But if he pounced and missed today he might be the one who lost too much momentum. Bad bad bad, and no fun at all. He pushed himself, waited while watching carefully with his bright blue eyes. When the moment was most opportune, Doron pounced.

As he had anticipated, Chastity had to slow down or she would have run straight into the trees and she didn't want to do that. If she did, she would have lost Doron and she wanted to let him pounce her so it would be counter productive to lose him.
While she was thinking and slowing down, suddenly he caught up to her and she felt his weight seconds before it would have been harmful. She rolled onto her back and laughed as he pounced her, nipping at an ear and any bit of skin she could get contact with. Careful not to draw blood for him.

He would not have hurt her, even with the enthusiasm of his pounce and the fierce rush to really want to succeed. The playful and sleep-prone male was accustomed to playing with kits smaller than him. Though truth be... it was nice being able to cut loose a bit more because Chastity was full grown. Sure, he played with Chroma... but that was his Ma! She was fun but not a friend.
His un-nipped ear pressed back curiously for a moment at her laughter until it dawned on Doron that maybe she liked being pounced then his swirled tails wagged happily. His other ear flicked in surprise at the n**, his body shifting a bit from the other nips in an automatic & playful fashion much like one would to squirm away from being tickled but never actually trying to really get away. Her playful nips were completely unlike other playful nips he had received from his mother or Hemi or the permakits or the other kits that had hatched and grown in his 'family' that he had played with since his own hatching. Doron could not place the feeling other than that, but he liked it whatever this difference was. His friendly laughter soon joined Chastity's as he pressed his paws with gentle firmness to her shoulders to keep her pinned and playfully nipped back while 'trying' to avoid nips aimed at him.

Chastity was glad that Doron was getting into the play. She hadn't had a good wrestle or romp session since Charity was at home. Then she went away and came back with her mate. She liked her sister's mate, but it made life around home boring for Chastity at times.
She realized that he was playing with the nips and the fake avoiding. It was reassuring for her. Just the biting made her feel better, even if it was in play. It reminded her of her younger days with her family, how she missed them. But it seemed to her that she had found a nice and fun, if not odd sometimes, substitute.

Of course he was only playing. Although Doron could fight if he wanted to, or rather if he needed to. For now he would match the intensity of Chastity's play... for that's what the wrestling and nipping was, right?
Grinning he gave a playful growl, raising his wiggling rump while lowering his chest then 'bit' at Chastity's throat in a 'hunter & pray' fashion. This of course left his ears quite unguarded but it was all in good fun. He liked playing with someone his own size that was not family.
