Here are some extremely basic rules that really shouldn't have to be posted:

1. Respect your fellow Legion member. Disagreements are part of life, but the Legion soldier beside you is your comrade-in-arms. It may be his/her job to save your a** if there's a problem.

2. If a non-human is willing to help our cause, they are a friend. Not all vampires, aliens, etc. are evil. Give the good ones the treatment they really deserve.

3. Act like responsible people when you're on duty. If you want to casually converse with your fellow Legion members, that's what the Recreation and Relaxation Area is for. Goofing off is fine with me, but not on the job.

4. If you are Crew or Vice Captain, be responsible with the Stickies. Try to post normall topics as much as possible, with Stickies being used only if you think it's neccessary. And don't post Announcements at all. Use the "Announcements" thread, please, unless there is a serious emergency/update, at which time you can post an Announcement.

Basically, just follow basic Gaia Online rules and the universally-accepted rules of roleplaying, and you're good to go.

If you break the rules, you'll be warned. If it gets serious, you'll be banned. I really don't want to do that.

Also, when it comes to RPing, there are two main styles. Narrative, and Asterisk.

Narrative:
Zion walked into the bar, glancing about, his knife and pistol hidden in his coat. "Hm... nothing suspicious here..." he said quietly to himself.

Asterisk:
*walks into bar, glancing about, his knife and pistol hidden in his coat* *speaks quietly to himself* Hm... nothing suspicious here.

Some people are very picky about this. I don't care which you use, and please, DO NOT get on someone's case because they use one you don't like. I prefer Narrative, but I'm not a Nazi about it.
