Sawaki Kohaku cautiously walked twoards the bright green female. She was really pretty. They were basically born on the same day.. He knew he had seen her before, but he hadn't really noticed her. Judging that she wasn't dangerous, he sent out telepathically,
"Hey, have we met before? My name is Kohaku." he stopped being vigilant and approached her like a friend, awaiting an answer.
Zsabrina Aureliana was busy grooming her fur in the warmth of the sun when she received a telepathic communication. It felt like a cautious nudge to her mind as she listened and tilted her head, she looked at the neko who was asking. She smiled, he reminded her of a ripe peach and inwardly chuckled as she replied, bowing her head gently to show she accepted his greeting. "I don't believe so. I'm Aureliana. How are you today?"
Sawaki Kohaku received back a telepathic message. Aureliana, what a lovely name... he thought.
"I'm good today, how are you?" he asked, looking kindly into her deep blue eyes. He watched the neko groom herself and wondered if his coat was clean at that very moment. He felt slightly embarrased if it wasn't, letting a blush pass his cheeks for an instant.
Zsabrina Aureliana flashed a bright smile at him as she finished grooming and sat up straight, her tail swishing side to side. "I'm quite well. Just relaxing here before I go home. What are you up to?"
She chuckled inwardly as she saw him blush, but she trained herself to show curiosity only.
Sawaki Kohaku watched the graceful cat rise from where she had been grooming herself. Her voice sounded so lovely, like a lullaby.
"Oh, I haven't been doing much, just wandering around.." he said. Realising Aureliana was about to leave, he hastily asked her, "Would you like to go for a walk with me?"
Silly... his conscience echoed to himself. She'll never say yes!
Page 413
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled good-naturedly and flicked her tail momentarily. Hmm, do I have time? Ah well, what is life without some fun. She giggled to herself at that last.
She nodded her head towards Kohaku and gave a bright smile. "That sounds lovely. Where to, my sir Kohaku?" she inquired with a tiny laugh like joyful bells.
Sawaki Aureliana's giggle allowed his heart to shatter in happiness. She would make a perfect friend for him.
"A stroll in the park, mademoisel?" he asked kindly, acting all royal and kingly, in an elegant posture. He blurted out laughing when he couldn't help but collapse from the stance. He converted back into his old sweet and comfortable self, and begun leading the way into the park.
Zsabrina Aureliana giggled at his gesture and smiled warmly. He's too cute. "A trip to the park sounds absolutely lovely!" She strolled right up to his side and walked along beside him, occasionally looking at the splendid markings on his coat. She tried to be discrete, but she couldn't help but be drawn to how striking they seemed.
Page 415
Sawaki Kohaku gently placed one paw in front of the other, trying to impress the beautiful Aureliana that walked by his side. She seemed to be interested in his markings, but he tried to pretend he didn't notice. He enjoyed being accompanied by her.
The birds begun to chirp as a light breeze swept through the forest. The scent of newly blossoming flowers filled the air. Kohaku exhaled some pollen and let out a small sneeze.
Zsabrina Aureliana cleared her throat and tried to get her mind away from just wanting to look at his coat all day. "So, have you ever been to this park? I only remember visiting the Maneki Neko shop when I was little. I liked those times, I remember leaping through the wall and then getting stuck." She laughed at herself. Eep. Now I'm babbling...
Sawaki "Hmm.. well," Kohaku began. "To be frank I've never been here before." he boldly stated, thinking back to the old times. "But this park has always been in my dreams, and when I was a young kid I always fent connected to here with my mind, as if something was pulling me toward this place." Kohaku shivered. "Sometimes it felt magical, sometimes it felt eyrie. I just never had the courage to enter it before, until you came along with me." he completed.
Lovely, she'll probably think I'm making this all up. he thought, wishing he hadn't told her his feelings. However, something felt right. The park seemed enchantedly beautiful as they spoke. Until Kohaku tripped over a twig.
You cluts.. he thought to himself as he blushed once again, smiling at Aureliana. He hoped she hadn't noticed, but a gashing pain entered his ankle. He tried to ignore it and continued to walk on.
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled, remembering what it was like to be drawn to the Maneki Neko shop at the beginning. She understood his feelings, but wondered why it would be a park that he'd be drawn to. "Actually, the shop had similar feelings to me as well, I wandered away from my new foster mother and took off on my own." She chuckled but then noticed Kohaku trip and skip a step.
Hrm, that fall didn't look too good. But he seems ok? Maybe he wasn't hurt after all.
Trying to not make him feel too awkward she asked, "So, where shall we go first then?" She smiled warmly at him.
Sawaki "Hmm.. I'm not sure, let's just walk aorund." Kohaku said, trying not to sound stupid. He walked up straight beside the elegant Aureliana. The two nekos where almost the same height, Kohaku being a slight centimeter taller than Aureliana. His ankle still kind of throbbed at his leg, but he resisted the urge to bend down and lick it. Eventually, the pain dissapeared as he got drawn more and more to the beautiful neko. It was as if her eyes were calling for him. Their beauty and deep blue reminded him of a painting in the neko store of the ocean. He tried not to make it obvious he was looking at her eyes.
Kohaku had heard of telepathic bonding, but he hadn't experienced it before. He heard it's what brings together friendship and love. A wicked idea came to his mind. Should he try and bond with Aureliana? Another though tugged at the end of his mind. Maybe she'd think of it in the wrong way...
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled, liking the idea of a walk around such a beautiful park. She paused a moment as she realized Kohaku was looking at her in a funny way. She tilted her head just a hair in curiosity, watching his eyes, trying to puzzle out what he was looking at.
She started to blush, feeling his eyes go deeper into hers, then she felt a warmth. Not exactly warm, but also a kind of tugging in her mind. She'd only ever felt such a connection with her foster mother before, it was hard to describe but this felt different.
Is this what bonding is like? Oh my... he's such a lovely neko, kind and gentle. In his eyes, I think I could know his soul.
She blushed and her ears flicked out of nervousness.
Page 416
Sawaki Aureliana looked straight into his eyes. A beautiful feeling caressed his mind as their gaze touched. Maybe.. I'll try... he thought.
He sent out all his feelings into the air, feeling them leave his mind and enter Aureliana's. He felt truly connected, and it as a beatiful feeling. He wanted to stay that forever.
Zsabrina Aureliana felt her soul brace against a new flood of emotions, all of them sweet, caring, overall a sense of friendship. She looked right at Kohaku. Wow, he feels all that... for me?
She returned her emotions through the connection, how handsome she thought he was, her own feelings of friendship she had for him, and the curious doubts she had about this new connection.
Sawaki Kohaku allowed his mind to receive the feelings Aureliana felt for him. He felt flattered that she thought he was handsome. He also felt doubts, just like he had before they connected. Now he had no doubts. This was absolutely beautiful. It felt like they were floating in the air. He never wanted to leave Aureliana.
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled as she felt his confidence and fondness for her. She leaned forward and nuzzled his cheek. "You are so sweet Kohaku." She blushed at herself for saying it, but she felt that, and maybe more...?
prprofs A grey-ish black feline stood quietly on top of a raised mound of dirt, surveying his surroundings, finding things to stare. Streaks of green licked at his coat, the unnatural color an amusing blend. His blank face could not hide his interest as he suddenly spotted the pair not but a few feet away. He has found something to please his staring habits. Silently, he watches the two as one does a movie. He liked love stories.
Sawaki Kohaku was shocked at the beautiful feline's fur against his. Blushing, he nuzzled her face, and felt her soft coat brush off his neck. He didn't need to say anything, as all that he felt, Aureliana could feel aswell. She knew how he felt, and she felt the same..
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled softly at Kohaku and spoke gently, "Shouldn't we be going? If it gets too late we won't be able to see the park." She chuckled, but half of her wanted to just sit. Perhaps there's a nice spot at the park to watch the sunset?
Sawaki "Hmm..?" Kohaku mumbled, enjoying the moment. "Oh, right! Sorry.." he whispered, blushing. "Lets.. go then." he gave her a warm smile. Maybe we can watch the sunset, he thought, unaware that Aureliana was thinking the same.
Zsabrina Aureliana walked by his side, letting her tail occasionaly interlock with his. This park truly is lovely... she thought as they passed green grass stretching as far as she could see and beautifully set trees and flower beds. Even the birds' song seems to glorify the day here.
Sawaki Kohaku enjoyed this late walk through the park. There were fewer people out, as the sun was sinking lower and lower into the horizon. Eventually, they reached to the top of a hill. The grass was neatly cut, and daisies were beginning to blossom on the ground. How beautiful spring can be.. Kohaku thought.
"Would you like to sit down here?" he asked Aureliana. The sun was just about to dissapear, but a warm breeze was still present.
Zsabrina Aureliana enjoyed walking through the park and when they peaked the hill, the radiance of the setting sun astounded her. She smiled and preened in the fading light. She closed her eyes to feel the warm breeze and nuzzled Kohaku gently and spoke to him telepathically, "Here would be absolutely purrrrfect sitting with you and watching this beautiful sunset."
She sat down, then slowly lowered herself down more, in just the right spot so her eyes could still watch the horizon as she lounged. Almost like magic... This world has its own magic, that can even sometimes rival the spirit realm.
Page 419
Sawaki Kohaku sat beside Aureliana. He allowed his tail to curl around hers as he let her lean against him. They watched as birds passed by, and the sun sunk deaper and deaper, until the sky became a passionate pink color.
"So, do you have any siblings or family apart from your foster mother?" he asked telepathically.
Zsabrina As the mood became even more intimate and romantic, Aureliana cuddled closer to Kohaku. "Not at the moment," she answered in kind. "I always thought a big family might be nice. I was always hoping when I could journey to the Spirit Realm more often, I'd find Neko spirits to play with."
She smiled softly and placed a paw on his as she watched a couple of lovebirds play in circles with one another in the air.
Sawaki Kohaku's heart begun beating faster, the feel of Aureliana's soft fur on his paw was wonderful. The sun was just about to set. As it dissapeared, he watched the love-birds as they played together in the skies. Aureliana's voice was so beautiful. He turned to her, and unexpected planted a small lick on her cheek,
Zsabrina Aureliana loved spending time with Kohaku in the quiet of dusk, before the world prepares to sleep. When he licked her cheek she blushed bright crimson, enough to make her fur look somewhat mottled. He... oh my! I feel like fainting. Her heart was beating faster and though she was surprised by his affection, it felt very right also. She nuzzled against his cheek gently in return and rested her head just under his chin to watch the last thin film of light disappear across the horizon.
Page 420
Sawaki Kohaku loved the feeling of Aureliana resting against him. What will we do after the sun has gone? he thought. Maybe we'll walk back through the park and I'll walk her home..
The last remnants of the sun went away as the sky turned darker. The two stayed there a little longer, until Kohaku nuzzled up againts Aureliana and said, "Shall I walk you home?" he didn't want to leave this early.
Zsabrina Aureliana was dozing off feeling the warmth of him next to her, she stretched a bit and tried answering that going home would be nice, but all that came out was a mumble. She telepathically sent to him, "We should nap here just a bit... not... too... long."
Page 421
Sawaki Kohaku was glad she didn't want to leave. He smiled and replied "Ok."
He stretched a bit and curled up on the ground, closing his eyes. He couldn't get to sleep though, as he was with Aureliana.
Zsabrina Aureliana slept, comforted by Kohaku, late into the night when a lightning bug landed on her nose...
Page 423
Zsabrina As the lightning bug landed on Aureliana's nose, she twitched it, and the bug took off to land in front of her where the light made her start. She sat straight up, thinking she had only slept a few minutes, but found that the darkness of night had taken hold completely. The stars were twinkling gently in the sky.
She turned to Kohaku to see if he was asleep as well...
Sawaki Kohaku quietly lay resting, dreaming of a place full of fields. He saw Aureliana at the peek of a hill, smiling warmly at him. Then he felt a srong breeze sweep the grass and rustle the trees. Aureliana began to run away. He ran after her, only to find that she was too fast. He couldn't catch up. Worry entered his mind as she dissapeared into the sun. Kohaku jumped after her, only to find that she was gone. He could no longer feel her presence.
He vaguely awoke, without opening his eyes. This time he could feel her presence. She was not too far from him. This is weird... he thought. I can't see her yet I can fell where she is...
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled, watching him sleeping, and nuzzled him gently. She told him telepathically, "Kohaku, the night is upon us, we must have slept for hours..."
She laid a paw on his and she could feel him just waking. She smiled as her heart felt so light just at his touch. So much caring in a single touch... I feel as if I could know of him anywhere in the world.
Sawaki Aureliana's warm touch lifted his eyelids sowly as if it they had been waiting to awake. He just lay there, gazing into Aureliana's eyes as if some magical spell was holding their eyes together. He sent all his love through her where their eyes met, and felt it surge through her body, engulfing both of them. For Kohaku, time stood still.
Zsabrina Aureliana smiled, loving this moment and their connection to one another, but in the back of her mind, time nagged at her. She bent down and nuzzled the edge of his nose, "We should be going... it is so late. I fear I'm getting a bit peckish for some food also." She blushed as she realized she hadn't eaten much earlier.
Sawaki "Oh, right.." Kohaku answered. In a split instant, he realized it had already become dark. He stood up and stretched, yawning with his mouth wide open. "Let's go then," he said, beginning to walk by Aureliana.
Zsabrina Aureliana led the way out of the park, then stopped at its entrance, taking one more look at the beauty of it over her shoulder. "It's... so... beautiful." She stared wide-eyed as the moon bathed the entire park in a silvery glow.
Sawaki Kohaku walked together with Aureliana towards the end of the park. When he heard her voice, he replied softly,
"Not as beautiful as you are..." he blushed and looked for something else to say. "Well, good night then.."
Zsabrina Aureliana licked his cheek, in effect pecking him on the cheek, as she smiled fondly at him. "Goodnight... will... umm.. will I see you tomorrow?"
Sawaki "Well, I hope so.." he replied. He quickly thought up of a place and time.. "Hows the fair sound to you? At.. noon? Then we can spend the whole day together." he waited for a reply.
Page 424
Zsabrina Aureliana's eyes lit up and she sent her feelings of excitement to Kohaku and replied telepathically, making the exchange more intimate. "I've never been to a fair, I would love spending the day with you there."
She nuzzled his cheek then purred.
Sawaki Kohaku felt thrilled by her excitement. Soon, he couldn't wait for tomorrow either. "Ok, that's settled then. See you tomorrow!" he called. He nuzzled her and licked her cheek. "Have a good sleep" he whispered.
Zsabrina Aureliana walked home with a light heart and she practically pranced home, she felt as if springs were tied to her feet. As she got home, she got some food from Zsabrina, then curled up to snuggle with her foster mother.*Zsabrina felt Aureliana's feelings and smiled. Wonder what my surprising little kitten has been up to today? she pondered as she petted Aureliana.*
Page 426
Sawaki Kohaku entered his house. His eyes glimmered brightly, lighting up the whole room. Sawaki wondered, What has he been up to? She picked him up and telepathically linked his mind with hers. Now that he was growing, it was harder to see what had happened, but she was overwhelmed with feelings of happiness and joy. She set him down.
Kohaku couldn't sleep. He kept twisting and turning on his pillow, but couldn't stop thinking of Aureliana. Finally, the long awaited morning arrived. Kohaku sprung up and dashed to the kitchen, where his breakfast would be waiting for him. MMmmm.. Whiskas.. he thought as he took out two of the crispy and milky fish shaped chow, and gobbled down the rest. He put the two pieces onto a small piece of tissue, and carried it in his mouth as he left the door.
There was still a a long time until noon, but he had to get ready. He set down his small parcel by a river, and pounced into the water. The water was so clean that he soaked his fur and swam back to the shore. ((Wow, he can swim wink )) He basked by the river bank as he waited for his coat to dry, and when it did, it sparkled like the sun. He continued on his way.
When he finally got to the luna park, he sat by the entrance and waited. He was much too early. He decided he would go and pick some flowers for Aureliana. Beside the luna park was a small patch of grassland. He scrurried around, looking for flowers. He finally chose a batch of dandelions and carried them back to the luna park entrance in his mouth. There, he waited.
Page 427
Zsabrina That night Zsabrina took Aureliana to bed with her as always and as Aureliana nestled into the pillow between Zsabrina's head and the headboard of the bed, they both dreamed sweet that night. Aureliana's bond with Zsabrina transferred Aureliana's feelings of love and joy to Zsabrina's dreams. Aureliana dreamt of beautiful gardens amidst gorgeous changing of seasons and she felt as if she could fly.
As the sun hit Aureliana's face, she woke with a start, like one who is eager to be awake on time she naturally woke much earlier than intended. She jumped down to the floor and went to her own bed where the morning sun was warming it to just the right temperature. She stretched and bathed lavishly in the sunlight, paying homage to the sun as only a feline could.
Zsabrina woke later with a spring to her step and was humming a strangely uplifting and slightly whimsical melody as she got Aureliana's daily food and water ready. Aureliana ate sparingly, much too preoccupied with her "date" to eat much.
As Zsabrina sat on the couch to relax, Aureliana leapt onto her lap and curled up quite comfortably. Zsabrina still felt the slightly eager anticipation from Aureliana and giggled softly, soothing her by scratching behind her ears and on her belly. Aureliana much enjoyed the attention but kept looking at the clock, like a nervous worker who was running out of break time. Zsabrina smiled at Aureliana, "What's wrong, sweetie?"
Aureliana blushed, "Kohaku... fair... too early." Aureliana replied in human speech, her words were getting better and coming easier, but the nuances of human speech occasionally eluded her still.
"Aaah, why not go take a walk while you wait? It might help ease your anxities." Zsabrina smiled warmly, but chuckled inside recognizing the beginnings of love.
Aureliana licked and nuzzled Zsabrina's cheek, "Thanks mom." Aureliana jumped down, then left the house but sat on the front step near the flowers a moment. Where to go though? I don't want to wander too far... I guess I can -slowly- go towards the fair, that wouldn't hurt anything.
Sawaki Kohaku was cleaning his fur when he saw Aureliana coming very slowly towards the fair. Immediately, he stood up straight and ruffled his fur a bit, so it didn't look too perfect. A weird feeling filled his stomach, but it felt kind of nice...
Zsabrina Aureliana was too preoccupied watching the large ferris wheel above her head to realize that Kohaku was watching her. She had her mouth open in awe, somewhat dazed at the sight, her tail flicking side to side gently as if she were imagining herself up there and trying to keep balance. She got a foot from Kohaku when she looked down and the first thing she saw were his deep gold-yellow eyes. She stared into them, entranced, when one might have thought she'd jump at being startled to find him, but she just felt completely whole.
Sawaki "Hi." Kohaku said casually, though his heart was pounding. "Shall we go inside?" he asked.
He walked with her towards the entrance of the fair, where he stopped and showed her his small bundel, in which he had kept the two fish shaped treats and the flowers he had picked. He handed them to her, and said, "Here, these are for you..."
Page 428
Zsabrina Aureliana tore her eyes away and blushed. "I know... I'm early... but....' she babbled but stopped herself before she said anything else foolish and nodded as Kohaku's question, smiling softly.
"For me?" she queried as she nosed at the bundle and gently uncovered its contents. "Thank you Kohaku! Would.... would you help place the flower in my collar so I can wear it with me all day today?" she smiled shyly and sat down patiently so she wouldn't fidget.
Sawaki Kohaku couldn't help but blush when Aureliana uncovered the bundle. He was much earlier than her, but he avoided saying it, wondering if he might sound stupid. Instead, he nodded and genlty picked up the flowers. His paws fidgeted with her collar. It was so beautiful, he didn't want to risk damaging it. With trembling paws, he slipped the flowers under her collar and carefully fastened them. He stood back as he admired the colors blend in with her silky fur. He suddenly felt ashamed of bringing the fish treats. Maybe Aureliana didn't eat what he ate...
Zsabrina Aureliana licked Kohaku's cheek gently after he placed the flower. "Thank you very much. The fish treats smell wonderful." Aureliana ate each one slowly, savoring the flavors and licked her lips. I should ask mom to get these for me too, they're delicious.
"I always wanted to go on something so high as that big wheel there," she said as she lifted a paw to the Ferris Wheel. "Do you think we can try that first?" She smiled at Kohaku, a twinkle in her eye like a child discovering the best secrets.

Sawaki Kohak followed where Aureliana was pointing at, and was amazed at the feris wheel.
"It's beautiful.." he whispered. "Let's go!" he walked with Aureliana towards the entrance of the feris wheel, and entered a empty cabin with her. The guard closed their door as it begun moving.
Zsabrina Aureliana snuggled closer to Kohaku as the Ferris Wheel went up higher and higher, she loved the view from so high above the world.
