Never heard of it either... sounds more like Chinese, if you'll ask me. But I agree with Echo, it could be a really rare name.

never heard of Ban as a korean name. Like they said, could just be really rare or uncommon. Only about 45% of Koreans bear the name Kim, Lee, or Park.

Are you korean ? and yeah Ban is a korean last name it's just not that common like my last name is cho and there really isn't that many people with that last name.
