New Rules added here
12. Post Deletions: Posts can't be deleted at people's leisure (unless it is your own) and it must be a either a rule violation or to clean up an argument (again, unless it's your own) and you must consult another crew member (Also pertains to Co-Captains) if it isn't your own post before it can be deleted.
13. Threads Removals: Threads are NOT to be deleted but either left to drift away in the sea of threads on other pages or moved to the Trash Can and locked. All spam threads will be locked and moved and kept as evidence if one day it is needed.
14. Subforums: Threads are now to be made in the appropriate subforums to clean the guild up and to organize it better. Game series that are exclusive go into the respective subforum. Any general gaming thread (GOTY, E3, Favorite Genre, etc) goes into the main forum as well as non-exclusive game series (Such as Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy etc) can go in the main forum. I am considering making a subforum to contain game hate. That's still up in the air. The subforums are to be used. I don't want dead subforums.
Exception: Major news about exclusive games/series/console/non-game related CAN be posted in the main forum. (EX: "New Wii Announced!")
15. Banning Members: Members are not to be banned by the decision of one crew member or Co-Captain solely. Even though the rules may call for an insta-ban, cases should be discussed and consulted with others before the ban is actually executed. Each situation is still different from the next so consultations still need to be conducted. Also, a formal message should be sent to the Banned member telling them why they were banned. These things should be conducted formally.
16. Power Issues: If there is an issue involving a Co-Captain or Crew's authority please feel free to PM another Crew member or Co-Captain to explain the issue. Abuses of Power will not be tolerated and this is a democratic guild so any such complaints are taken seriously and are investigated.
17. Filing Complaints: Any member crew or non-crew will file complaints in this fashion.
a If a regular Member: To file a complaint you will look at the directory of crew members and choose one and PM them and notify them about your complaint. The crew member will then notify one of the co-captains and discuss the matter with them. Between the two some kind of decision will be made on whether to pursue the issue or not.
b: If crew: You may directly PM a co-captain and address the matter. You may choose to consult another crew member if you wish.
18. Impeachments: Impeachment of a crew or co-captain from their position for whatever reason is decided by a meeting of the other co-captains and crew and will be done through a voting process.
a Impeachments may be considered first offenses pending the circumstances.
b. Any crew or co-Captain can call an impeachment meeting to see if voting should be done for a removal of position whether or not first offense.
c. The member up for question is not allowed to be present at the impeachment meeting until voting is decided.
d. At that time if voting is decided the member has an opportunity to speak in the presence of the crew on why they shouldn't be removed, etc.
d. Voting then Commences. If results show a majority for removal of position then it is done. Note that this doesn't mean that the member is banned from the guild. Circumstances will determine if they should be banned automatically or if another voting will commence.
e. If not banned automatically, voting commences. If voting shows a majority wants them banned then so be it. If not they remain a non-crew member and are on probation. (Time frame determined per circumstance) Any slip up with probation can result in an automatic ban.
