Ugh, he knows where his advantage lies, he's not gonna box. I'll throw something and he'll clinch up again, looking to ground me. Well, I can work out of those, gotta catch him coming in and coming out, make him pay for trying to tie me up.
Frowning slightly, the half-golem would bring his left leg forwards again, throwing a front push kick above and to the inside of Crawley's rear knee. Using this to set him off balance, he'd plant that foot in front and throw a left hook for the man's stomach, leaning into a right straight for his jaw.

Crawley bounced back slightly putting his right leg out of range of the kick, though he hadn't quite moved himself out of range of the hook so he bounced back a little again, swatting at the left hook with his right hand.
Then came the right straight. Crawley bounced back a final time, his body lowering slightly just before launching forward. The majority of his body was under Shouyin's arm. And while it looked like it was gonna turn into a shoot. It wasn't... not right now.
Swinging in just to the inside of Shouyin's right straight was Crawley's right overhand punch. Like a well timed counter-punch. But the true nature of this strike was revealed when Crawley's right shoulder collided with Shouyin's body.
That right hand, coming off whatever it connected with, dropped around the inside of Shouyin's right thigh. The left, by this time, was around the outside of Shouyin's thigh. This wasn't a normal single leg shoot though.. if it wasn't already obvious. Crawley was circled off to the outside just as he got the leg with his own right leg hooked around the ankle.
His body pushed into the outside, into the back of his knee to force him to the ground on all fours...

Not so fast, Spiderman! The overhand right would be Crawley's downfall, for as the punch came inside his own straight, Shou would be bringing his left hand back into guard position after the hook. And with a simple redirection of movement, he'd smack his now open palm up and to his right against the elbow of the man's arm, forcing the fist past his head and over his right shoulder.
Rather than allow the man to circle his arm about and slip it in between his legs, he'd hold it in that position, using his left hand to grip the elbow and push it against his own shoulder for control while his right arm moved down and grabbed the back of his opponent's right shoulder.
With Crawley already trying to circle around to the outside, Shouyin would simply help him along, rotating clockwise and pulling the man in towards himself and then past his right leg by his grip on the shoulder. The man would land face first on his stomach against the steel grating that made up the floor as Shouyin stepped over top of him with his left leg, moving into a back mount as he released the man's arm.
You could probably guess what happened next, the back of Crawley's head looking mighty fine to a pair of free fists 'n all.

To negate all coming actions. As soon as Crawley's right arm went over the shoulder, he clasped it with his left hand. Because it was arm-drag-esque, he immediately did this to prevent Shouyin from isolating his arm to perform the move.
So what they'd do is do the clockwise thing for a step or two in a different kind of clinch. Though with those steps Crawley's feet would be placed with the left just outside Shouyin's right. And the right between his legs.
Right knee takes groin -- and forces retreat.

'Ey... Wincing with pain, Shouyin would drop his left leg back, shifting his two holds to push against Crawley's elbow and the inside of his shoulder. This would force him away as he shuffled back quickly, holding his fighting stance with the right leg forwards.
"Osu..." He'd take whatever chance he was given to hunch over a lil' and breathe the pain off, trying to ease out that sinking feeling in his stomach.

And because the essence of martial arts is in combat, not in form.. Crawley went into an all out offensive, charging in with alternating punches at Shouyin's head. He pounded away at and around any guard that was put up in a defense to knock him back, out, or on the ground in a daze to take even more advantage of the opportunity he created.

And lo, 'whatever chance he was given' turned out to be no chance at all. Rather than let himself be forced back into a wall and taken apart, the half-golem would follow a pattern of shuffling back one or two steps before stepping out to the outside of Crawley's current punch (moving to his right against a left jab, to his left against a right straight) while fending off the closest strikes with parries. Nevertheless, he'd definitely eat three or four right off the bat-- trying to fight against the pain in his groin and a straight blast at the same time wasn't much fun.
Of course, dancing away from an assault like that wasn't too effective in the long run, and after however many parries and sidesteps, Shouyin would shoot out with a lead right push kick for underneath Crawley's punches, aiming to catch him in the lower abdomen.

Crawley was distanced from Shouyin by the kick. However he kept pressing forward into the guy. He responded with a kick of his own. A right roundhouse to the inside of Shouyin's right thigh, just above the knee. Or on the knee.. hard to be precise at times like this.
Coming up right after that was a groin shot with the same leg.. disguised as a another inside leg kick. Finally followed by one last roundhouse with the same leg again at wherever Shouyin's head was placed after the second kick.

As the first kick came in, Shouyin simply turned his leg in counter-clockwise, swinging it across so as to the front of his knee into Crawley's shin.
While this might hurt even a conditioned tibia, the knee's intention was only to interrupt the man's kick and force it to the outside. It also allowed Shouyin to raise his leg up into a chambered position more quickly, lashing out with a side kick on or underneath Crawley's solar plexus.
