Back when I first joined the church, comics were popular. I think I was in DYBIM for a grand total of five minutes before someone stuck me in one and, as a result, it made me feel very welcome here. It's probably one of the main reasons I decided to come back the next day, and the next, until I felt so welcome that I never have never quite managed to leave despite the extended absences I've taken over the years. And like many things, the trend died out and we found new things to amuse ourselves with. Which is perfectly normal.
Tonight, I saw one of the old comics appear in Deo's random sig and it made me think about all the fun I had reading those comics and making some of them. So, I'm proposing that we bring them back, or at least attempt to save the ones we still have around. We all look so different; it really is a trip.
I'm posting the old comics I found in our first thread, minus all of the broken links, and am asking anyone who still has a few saved on their computer to toss them into the pile. I only have about a quarter of them and I would like to get as many back as possible. In addition, if you would like to make any new comics, I would love to include them here as well. We’ve gained quite a few new faces since then and I would really enjoy seeing everyone in at least one comic.
